Over that time I have traveled over 200,000 miles and have seen things I could only have imagined when I picked up my cameras again in 2005. In 2022, with all the drama in the world today, I felt a quietness come over me this year while photographing, a more tranquil state that I truly appreciate. I hope that feeling is reflected in this new work." â Mitch Dobrowner [Mitch Dobrowner, Farm House and Shelf Cloud, Beach, North Dakota; 2022, 20"x30," Edition of 25, $2,500]( [Mitch Dobrowner, Cloud with Wings, Burwell Nebraska; 2022, 20"x30," edition of 25, $2,500]( [New Work by Mitch Dobrowner | Blog Post]( [photo-eye Gallery]( is proud to represent [Mitch Dobrowner](. Limited Edition with Signed Print: $50
Hardbound [Signed]: $32 ["The Art of Whiskey" in the Bookstore]( [Ernie Button, Planet Macallan 101, 6"x6," Archival Pigment Print.]( The Art of Whisky is a breathtaking and unusual gift book for whisky connoisseurs, celebrating the spirit from an unexpectedly beautiful angle. By chance, award-winning photographer Ernie Button noticed the intricate patterns formed in the residue at the bottoms of (almost) empty whisky glasses â each as different as a snowflake â and began photographing them with inventive lighting techniques. The resulting images are exquisitely gorgeous, evoking earthly landscapes and extraterrestrial visions. This book collects nearly 100 of those photos â each one more amazing than the last â and features delightful touches such as tasting notes, information on the science of what weâre seeing, and writing about single malt Scotch by Scotlandâs leading whisky expert Charles MacLean, commissioned exclusively for this book. The captivating photographs begin with the qualities that make single malt scotch so exquisite, get an assist from the natural wonder of fluid dynamics, and a finish of artful production that makes each unique and surprising. [The Science Behind Ernie Button's Vanishing Spirits | Blog]( As part of our video series photo-eye Conversations, photo-eye Gallery Director [Anne Kelly]( interviewed Ernie Button about his photographic practice and his most recent work from the [Vanishing Spirits]( series. [Ernie Button]( is a [Photographer's Showcase]( artist. [Giverny: A Year at the Garden]( [Terri Weifenbach]( ["Giverny: A Year At The Garden" in the Bookstore]( Signed copies are signed on a nameplate provided by the artist. For this first publication dedicated to the garden of the Musée des Impressionnismes in Giverny, designed by landscape artist Mark Rudkin including more than 22,000 planted flowers, the Museum has given carte blanche to Terri Weifenbach to document it for close to a year. The American photographer was inspired by the Impressionists who stayed nearby a century and a half ago. Under her lens, the colors of nature are evoked by strokes, like those of a paintbrush, and become visual sensations. Terri Weifenbach manages to restore the different seasons and the power of the colors that make the place famous and invites us to a stroll that is both pictorial and contemplative over the pages. A text by Cyrille Sciama, director of the Museum, accompanies this journey. [photo-eye Gallery]( is proud to represent [Terri Weifenbach](.
