to find a suitable programme format on this subject. It was a challenging but fulfilling exercise

[Petit BamBou]    Hello, Have you ever noticed some of your unconscious habits? Like, "Oh, whenever I have to wait alone for more than 10 seconds, I look at my phone", or "As soon as I enter the kitchen, I open the cupboard looking for something to eat". It’s nothing serious, of course. Interestingly, these situations allow you to seek automatisms out of curiosity and become more aware of them. When done in moderation, being on your phone or snacking will not endanger your health, but unconscious behaviours that do cause harm have similar mechanisms. This little game of clarity and awareness makes us feel more in control, less like puppets and more like puppet masters. A very pleasant feeling! It's a central element in the practice of mindfulness. New programme on addictive impulses We worked with [Dr Laurence Amsellem-Sanguignol]( to find a suitable programme format on this subject. It was a challenging but fulfilling exercise as we went along. We hope it will help you grasp your inner workings well. [In this programme]( we talk about urges in general so that everyone can pave their own path: - Identifying the problem. - Learning to recognise the moments of giving in. - Learning to balance the mix of associated sensations. - Breathing to let go. There isn’t a magic cure, but these sessions will be useful in helping you regain control. (In the case of severe addictions, we recommend you seek the advice of a healthcare professional before starting the programme.)
