will help you to meditate in this sometimes difficult context and also to accept that you may not

[Petit BamBou]    Hello, It is sometimes said that the language we speak affects the way we think and see the world. That’s why it can be interesting to see what it looks like in other languages and to find the missing word that could change everything for us! At this time of year, the word “rentrée” crops up a lot in France. This French noun literally means “return”, but, in this instance, refers to the start of September. The long summer vacation is over and it's time to go back to work, back to the office, back to school and normal life. "La rentrée" is a time for excited anticipation at the opportunities that lie ahead. It is so significant that it has its own name – there is no equivalent word in English to express this feeling. But still, isn’t “rentrée” a strange word? Of course, it does not mean the same thing to everyone, but generally speaking, it implies to restart, to renew, to re-establish... Our suggestion for this new month of September, then, is to break out of this cycle of getting back to it and to change our outlook: instead of a return, a restart, what if we were just getting ready for a simple start? The start of a new season, of a new energy, going on a path never taken before. We will live each day of this new start only once, so let us enjoy the good days, and be relieved that the bad days are a one-off! Meditating on the road What do you usually do when you are on public transport? Do you read? Talk? Listen to music? Or… look frantically at your phone? We suggest you give meditation a go, just like at home in the quiet, but this time in the noise, in the middle of a crowd! These sessions of our new programme [meditating on public transport]( will help you to meditate in this sometimes difficult context and also to accept that you may not hear the guidance as well as if you were at home. Remember that the most important thing is your meditation, not the words, but if you have a good pair of earphones, it shouldn’t be a problem! Sharing your experience As you can see, your ideas, messages and feedback provide us with insight to question ourselves, to improve and create new things. That’s why we started this new project of sharing experiences. We enjoy reading your messages but we would love to see your faces and/or hear your voices directly speaking to us! If you want to leave us a short message about your experience with Petit BamBou, feel free to do so via [this link]( (a surprise might be hiding there! And it's somehting that looks a lot like a gift card! So don't hesitate to check it out). We wish you a refreshing new start this September, full of first times that might not necessarily look like it.
