Orvis will MATCH your donation up to $10K to provide twice the enrichment for shelter dogs Help twice as many pets! [View this email in your browser]( Dear Friend, Since 2012, our friends at Orvis have been matching your donations to the Petfinder Foundation, helping more than 100,000 dogs find loving homes. And we're are thrilled to announce that once again, Orvis will DOUBLE your gift, up to $10,000. So your donation will bring life-changing enrichment to twice as many homeless dogs like Ash. A 1-year-old silver Lab mix, Ash was training to be a service dog, but his exuberant energy proved too much for the job. As a result, he found himself at Florida's K9s for Warriors, waiting for his forever family. Despite the love Ash received from the shelter's staff, he couldn’t seem to shake off his boredom. He started chasing his tail, a common sign of restlessness and frustration. Then the shelter used our Orvis Dog Enrichment Grant to purchase dog kiddie pools, igloos, sprinklers, tetherball sets, and other items to help its dogs play outside while keeping cool in the Florida heat. "It made all the difference for Ash!" says K9s for Warriors' Dannan Crabtree. "He spent hours playing tetherball with the staff and splashing around in the kiddie pool, thoroughly enjoying himself." Ash with his new little sister, June Ash soon found his perfect forever home. "He loves having dog friends over, so his family decided to adopt a puppy for him!" Crabtree says. "They are besties. His family is beyond happy with him, and he is still his sweet, goofy self." Shelter life is especially hard for dogs like Ash, but thanks to donors like you, we're helping thousands of dogs just like him. [Donate now and Orvis will DOUBLE your gift.]( Thank you for all that you do to help pets in need.
