Um, What?! This Horse Camp for Kids Involves Having Them Paint On the Animals for Fun
A camp in Brazil that is supposedly meant to teach children about all things equestrian had the bright idea to allow the children attending the camp to color and paint the horses. Instead of learning how to correctly handle a horse, how to care for them, and all the essentials to do with their diet and exercise, children are being allowed to cover horses in potentially toxic materials in the name of fun (and apparently art).
This white horse has been used as a canvas, with markers and paint covering almost its entire body. You will notice from the picture that there are less of these masterpieces on the horseâs rear, so perhaps the staff had a tiny amount of common sense left to tell the children not to go there, but still. Would you want paint and marker all over your face, or a bunch of excited children coming at you and drawing around your eyes? [Read more here.](
We Need to Catch Cruel People Who Beat and Killed a Lost Cat Then Sent the Video to the Animalâs Caretaker
There are honestly no words to describe how cruel and mean-spirited you have to be to take someoneâs lost cat, beat the animal to death, and send the guardian the video. This is what happened in Buckinghamshire, United Kingdom after a woman lost her beloved cat, Kiki. Like most people who have lost a pet, she put up posters in the hopes that someone would spot the long-haired black cat and give her a call. She could have never imagined the devastating video she received instead.
The video started with one of the posters Anna had posted and continued with a group of thugs kicking and beating her cat with a baseball bat. There is some speculation about whether the cat is really Kiki but regardless, it was still an innocent animal! The suffering this poor cat must have experienced is unfathomable, and these heartless humans need to pay for their actions. [Read more here.](

He runs full speed after the SUV as if to say, âWait! You forgot me!â Dog abandonment is illegal in Missouri, and the first offense is considered a class C misdemeanor which can land you in jail. Australiaâs Shark Nets Are Killing Marine Life ⦠and Theyâre Not Even âWorkingâ
Itâs shark week, so it seems like fitting timing to raise awareness of Australiaâs shark nets and the damage they are doing to marine life. These contraptions are designed to keep sharks from reaching sun-worshippers on the beach in the hope of keeping swimmers safe. But what they are doing more than anything is killing innocent marine life!
Just a few weeks ago, rescuers had to help free a humpback whale who was tangled in one of these shark nets off the Gold Coast of Australia. Last year, 300 non-target animals were similarly trapped, resulting in the death of more than half of them. And while these nets are designed to protect the public, they are proving ineffective, with around 65 percent of shark bites happening around these netted beaches. [Read more here.](
