[View in browser]( [Blog]( [Cookbooks]( [App]( Hello from Angela Are you as shocked as I am that 2018 is drawing to a close? How was your year? It sure has been a year of highs and lows over here. I struggled with some pretty crappy [health issues]( for the first three-quarters of the year, but I’ve been in a better place with my physical and mental health these past couple months...I can’t even believe the positive changes I’ve felt in such a short amount of time. This year was definitely a wake-up call that I need to take better care of my health and make it a priority. On the professional side of things, we celebrated 10 years of Oh She Glows (umm what! lol) and won a couple exciting awards. I was selected as one of WXN's Canada’s Most Powerful Women for 2018 and also took home Gold in Taste Canada’s Health and Special Diets Food Blogs category. The countless hours of hard work over the past decade have amounted to something I’m really proud of, and I can’t thank Eric, Terra, and Nicole—my small but mighty team—enough for the passion they pour into their roles. Thank YOU for coming along on this journey, spreading the word about my recipes, and just being so incredibly supportive! Below are some of my favourite vegan holiday recipes! Whether you’re attending a cookie swap or potluck, or planning your own special meal to share with loved ones this holiday season, I hope you’ll find something to enjoy in this roundup. I’m wishing you all a delicious holiday and a wonderful new year filled with blessings, good health, and happiness! Cheers to 2019, friends. Flesch reading score

Flesch reading score measures how complex a text is. The lower the score, the more difficult the text is to read. The Flesch readability score uses the average length of your sentences (measured by the number of words) and the average number of syllables per word in an equation to calculate the reading ease. Text with a very high Flesch reading ease score (about 100) is straightforward and easy to read, with short sentences and no words of more than two syllables.
