What are you fighting for, friend? | The weeks and months ahead aren’t likely to be easy. Chang

What are you fighting for, friend? | [Oxfam] Hey Friend, Elections are a critical time to raise our voices and make sure our values are reflected in the leaders we elect to represent us. But the democratic process doesn’t start or end on Election Day — it’s a constant process of active and engaged citizenship. Now, the most important democratic action we can take is to make sure all votes are counted, and nobody is excluded. We wait, but we don’t slow down our push to a more equal future. We will continue to fight for human rights and dignity. As we head into year-end, on the precipice of famine being declared in Somalia and political instability globally, we’re ready to keep the pressure on elected officials to deliver meaningful action for regular people. [That’s why we’re reaching out to you to ask: Will you give now to fuel Oxfam’s fight for equality and justice in the months to come? Step up with a gift to the Oxfam America Action Fund and power our work to advocate for a more just future for people around the globe.](113/cssrH04/VVQVsZ9bfhbvW3CF0yg7ntsd3W26rJbN4S989HN1HNyZV5nCVBV3Zsc37CgGDdW95zD9n8Cw6lxN8GnQSM1KnPKW56wBYp9lG8KbW62xLZD6VcspWVQq1rQ8_S9_tW67dDGR2zCBZSW5lZC0C1jPCLBW91f_X96rz1jxW6gXl8-73b2gMW1fBYyY1JT4PrW2Czbc03nzyswW9czhNt615bVbN21wbCCMNk9TW67txVx7ssNtnW3RK_m35_6BMcW4gytKq91YDg6W4fpsS23bbP6HW4nrQyt2HwtGLW6cWfnd1ZdnMTW4CjhN03C6JLTW1ZzvRn5YYss4W8BNtMX67MhwcW4T8R_X5M6jSJW4WwSzX3444_pN8xLLg3SW73yN4wQKFfZWGgNW78sM3j6zrBN5W1mx2Yt12vsG1W7VHYnJ6QKp_yW1pfk_m3NM_r1W116lkN2LMmscW3nhxs64FmmPGW92mc3m2QNg6vN3s-SLX31LfKW7V40V288wjdWW2YVDNN1YJ1tBN72Dm_9Y2J10W7NslN45l1RXC3kcm1) [Fuel our fight for equality and justice. Changing and rebuilding broken systems takes time, and people are experiencing crises and need help right now: - We continue to see the gap between the extremely wealthy and the global poor grow larger. - We see food companies jacking up prices and profiteering while families in Somaliland are unable to feed their families due to devastating climate-induced drought. - We see politicians use refugees as political props as people flee violence, conflict, and insecurity. - We see fossil fuel companies earning record profits while climate disasters from Pakistan to Puerto Rico destroy lives and livelihoods. Ending poverty and injustice is not going to happen overnight — but we have seen real victories. Whether it is billions in funding to fight famines, the largest ever US investments in climate action, or finally cracking down on wealthy tax cheats, we can make progress if we don’t give up. Together, we can seize the opportunities for change and hold our leaders accountable regardless of which way the political pendulum swings. We refuse to accept a status quo that rigs the system in favor of billionaires and large corporations, at the expense of the people. [Help us stay in the fight by making a donation to the Oxfam America Action Fund. We’ll put your gift right to work advocating for an agenda that ensures a prosperous future for all.](113/cssrH04/VVQVsZ9bfhbvW3CF0yg7ntsd3W26rJbN4S989HN1HNyZV5nCVBV3Zsc37CgNjZW7n7FK11zyqxGW3B5G9S4gFS4mN408Jlk56mSsW1pb8XL91QBzPW8mK9WD603fm2N6x8c3831Rs6Vf6sy49927wxW7BwqZb75h42HW5lFCXX4PKm32W53lvCw2VVHZLVMNB763P1-1VW22PB167klpYlW8ZwtnB18jRVfVxzjmv7bT9CpW8R_5YV36fVCmW2JFjQ92sFRhyVxCbnC7BlP6TVZh37W4Kqjd4W7nN4325Kn4-3Vw5w6t8FzjrSVcBfsx5LTdlMW3FJRtN3tHJwtVXg1kF1MSHfhW4_wH-w82nwWqN5PFpDvYz0tlW2xKs3t90g1xGVzVLLg8jlfsZW9dhptt2GcWp3W6YWD8h6J_lGdW4CfQvz6vnz-NW26g6fw296533W3Rgr693Gr-VQW2Lxlhg3M0fBSW85fp1r1qxF0nW85BcF24Y2x2gN8_p1qgRXCdjW8433nx49597sW6gyd4P5dyTJr3fWX1) Friend, in these uncertain times, we’re so grateful to have the support of the Oxfam community around the world.
