It’s one of the hardest lessons to learn…   You can’t hit a target you can’t

It’s one of the hardest lessons to learn…  (And by learn, I mean practice, not ‘intellectually’ know.)  You can’t hit a target you can’t SEE.  Yet, as January fast approaches, millions of us wander into the new year with no idea about what we want to get out of NEXT year, much less have any plan to achieve it.  Sound familiar?  If so, you're not alone.  The fact is, when ‘Santa’ doesn’t deliver what you want year after year, it doesn’t take long before our brains go:  “There’s no point in aiming high Tristan. Swallow that disappointment. Just keep plodding along..."  Right?  Yet, well intended as that inner dialogue may be, it practically guarantees nothing good will happen, except by pure fluke luck.  I don’t know about you, but waiting for the lucky genie to strike isn’t the kind of odds I like to take. I prefer to make my own luck.  The fact is, life today, for many, moves at breakneck speed. There’s always something more to do, someone else needing our time, and endless distractions and things to catch up on. Amidst this whirlwind, few of us pause to ask a critical question:  Have my actions this year been effective?  Did 2023 unfold as I hoped, or was it more of the same or, perhaps, even worse than the years before?  If you’re ending the year feeling frustrated or disappointed that things have been going backwards not forwards, whether it's in terms of your health, income, or accomplishments, don’t ignore these feelings.  It means you still care. And while it can be deeply frustrating and at times feel like you are alone, staring into the abyss, waiting for some kind of miracle to happen…  …the good news is some part of you STILL believes it could be better. Some part of you wants MORE for your life. Love and feed that part of you.  Because long before you experienced all the setbacks and frustrations - that most of us have or will - you were a flawless example that believed:  Anything is possible. The universe is infinite with infinite possibilities.  So, as one friend to another, let me invite you to ask yourself 3 helpful questions to help you avoid making the same missteps next year:  - Do you have a crystal clear target of what you want in 2024? One that compels you to achieve it. - Do you possess the right knowledge, skills and beliefs to succeed? - Do you know how to transform your ambitions into a practical, winning game plan? If the answer is ‘no’ to some or all of the above, don’t worry, I’ve got some helpful resources coming soon, that make it possible for anyone to get much more from life in 2024.  To your success, Tom   NLP Times, Real NLP Skills For The Real World [Unsubscribe]( | [Edit your details]( D&T New Media Limited Office E, 25th Floor, King Palace Plaza Kwun Tong Kowloon Hong Kong [Powered By Kartra] - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

Text with a very high Flesch reading ease score (about 100) is straightforward and easy to read, with short sentences and no words of more than two syllables.
