Hey Tristan,  Have you ever tried to use an NLP technique and it didn't work?  If you’ve been using NLP for a while, the answer is undoubtedly “yes!”  Ever wondered why? Why, for so many, NLP and self-help yields hit-and-miss results?  I know I sure did in my early days.  Until I witnessed extraordinary masters like Michael Breen and Richard Bandler accomplish remarkable feats at astonishing speeds, doing things that are light years ahead of what your average NLPer or NLP trainer can do…  …even though ALL of us were trained on the same technology.  Darn curious, when you think about it.  But then, one day, after hours of watching these geniuses at work, a lightbulb went off in my head...  I realised what they are doing isn't coded in the public NLP methodology. It’s not in NLP textbooks.  In fact, I estimate at little as just 0.1% of trainers know anything about this, which means nearly 100% of students will never develop elite level skills and so are stuck with hit-and-miss results.   You see, one day while watching Richard and Michael in a live workshop, I realised elite masters have a very special engine installed in them.  (An engine, I later discovered, they learned.)  An engine enabling them to achieve incredible results. A dynamic, super-quick machine that when installed, has several SERIOUSLY good benefits like…  - People perceive you as super smart - Change work becomes far more smooth, fast and elegant - You ask great questions, even on topics you know little about - You demonstrate penetrating insights with ease - And you can change people’s mind (and behaviours) with uncanny skill, frequently without the method being detectable to anyone… ...to name just a few of the quickly noticeable ones.  To give you an idea of what I’m talking about, let’s consider one context: change work - and compare how many of us were (mistakenly) taught how to create change in others.  A common 3 step process involves 1) identify and categorise the 'problem' e.g. 'a phobia' or 'a confidence issue', 2) match the problem to a NLP technique, 3) run the technique and hope it works.  If it fails, pick another and if that doesn't produce the desired outcome, many people give up, or silently conclude that the person is resistant to change!  Sound familiar?  It should. I’ve heard this process from hundreds of NLPers over the years, and they all follow a similar formula where the bulk of the time is spent on DOING techniques.  Real NLP masters don’t follow this flawed formula, and they don’t fixate on techniques ... instead, as soon as a client walks into the room, they switch on...  The Inference Engine (or IE, for short).  It’s a superpower that turns ordinary people into incredibly sharp, smart and bright human beings.  Mashup Sherlock Homes, Michael Breen, Tony Stark and Richard Bandler in your mind, and you will have a good idea of what I mean.  The Inference Engine is the missing piece that allows great minds like Sherlock Holmes, Thomas Edison, Michael Breen, and Richard Bandler to achieve and do things that others cannot.  It empowers them to make superfast connections others miss, display penetrating insights from minimal ‘data’ and rapidly pinpoint the smallest change, in a person or a system, that will create the largest systemic effect.  Stuff that for 99% of us, simply looks like magic.  It’s why so many NLPers can’t detect what is going on when they see these masters do extraordinary things.  As soon as I got this, and more importantly how it worked, it completely changed what I do and how I use NLP - making what I can now do, infinitely better.  Unfortunately, without this knowledge, most NLPers will continue to experience hit-and-miss results (as I did) and have to settle for scraps, from the banquet of possibilities available to elite NLPers…  …all because traditional NLP trainings and training schools have ZERO information on this or how to develop your own inference engine Tristan. Heck, few master trainers even know about this stuff!  It’s been kept secret for good reason.  Now, let's get back to how to use it in everyday life. The one really important thing to know is that ...  ... well, I've run out of time ... this mail has gone on longer than expected, so I guess that'll have to wait until next time.  Talk soon, Tom                 NLPTIMES Real NLP Skills For The Real World  --------------------------------------------------------------- Note: If you no longer wish to receive these emails on "How To Become Smarter & More Insightful", just [click here]( and you’ll be REMOVED from this email campaign. Flesch reading score

Flesch reading score measures how complex a text is. The lower the score, the more difficult the text is to read. The Flesch readability score uses the average length of your sentences (measured by the number of words) and the average number of syllables per word in an equation to calculate the reading ease. Text with a very high Flesch reading ease score (about 100) is straightforward and easy to read, with short sentences and no words of more than two syllables. Usually, a reading ease score of 60-70 is considered acceptable/normal for web copy.
