Even before the Big Lie resulted in the January 6 insurrection, these attacks have been a cornerstone of Treason Caucus policy. Republicans have always been TERRIFIED of a diverse and educated population. That's why they have done anything and everything to make it harder to vote – especially for people of color and individuals who are low-income. Don't believe us? These people don't even try to hide it anymore. In his home state of Texas, serial vacationer Ted Cruz openly and proudly opposed the John R. Lewis Voting Rights Advancement Act that would explicitly protect voters of color. Thanks to him, Texas remains a top contender for one of the most difficult states to register to vote. Even though she was first elected into office SOLELY by absentee ballots, Lauren Boebert has been on a crusade to reduce access to the ballot by ending mail-in voting. And Representative John Fillmore from Arizona has been a prominent architect of many bills aimed at granting the power to overturn elections to the state legislature. The evidence is there, and it is our responsibility to be vigilant and protect our vote.
