It's Labor Day!

Labor Day isn't just the end of a long weekend at the end of the summer to party with your friends and barbecue like your life depends on it. It's a holiday commemorating the fearless organizers who sacrificed their livelihoods and even their very lives to secure workers’ rights. It's a holiday that reminds us to continue supporting labor unions and standing on the side of workers during strikes. America was built on the labor of our workers, and while we have come a long way since the 19th century, there's still so much left to do. We've all heard the stories of warehouse workers laboring for long hours with no AC or bathroom breaks. We've seen the TikTok videos of managers working their employees without pay. And we’ve even witnessed countless big companies deprive their workers of the right to organize. We believe in our democracy, because it stands for everything the labor movement has historically stood for: equality, accountability, and justice. Our country cannot thrive when these injustices are still rampant in the workplace, and we must all do our part to support and advocate for American workers. Happy Labor Day!
