Then, he called for the prosecution of Dr. Fauci, despite his own very prosecutable actions on January 6th. In a recent interview with CBS's Margaret Brennan, Dr. Fauci was made aware of Cruz's call for his conviction and responded "Yeah, I have to laugh at that. I should be prosecuted? What happened on January 6, senator?" The truth is, however much Ted may try to deny it, we all know he played a role in the January 6th storming of the Capitol. Not only did Senator Cruz perpetuate the Big Lie -- he was a key figure the terrorists looked to for inspiration when attempting their failed coup.
