But while millions of Americans celebrate living as their authentic selves and recommit to the fight for equality, many Republican members in Congress continue to fan the flames of hatred. Earlier this year, Democrats in the House passed the Equality Act to ban discrimination based on sexual orientation or gender identity. But nearly every Republican (206 to be exact) voted against this bill. Some of the "no" votes included Treason Caucus members Rep. Lauren Boebert, who made despicable transphobic remarks when arguing why the bill shouldn't pass, and Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene, who hung a transphobic sign outside of her office. As if it couldn't get any worse, Rep. Greene's office is directly across from Democratic Rep. Marie Newman whose daughter is transgender. Donald Trump and Mike Pence may be out of the White House, but their anti-LGBTQ+ agenda lives on in Congress. The homophobic and transphobic actions we're seeing from Republicans in Congress are despicable and unacceptable. We need to send a message that we won't stand for this hatred. [This Pride Month, add your name to stand with members of the LGBTQ+ community and condemn these Republicans' hateful remarks and actions.]( Thanks, Never Again PAC [DONATE]( PAID FOR BY NEVER AGAIN PAC Never Again PAC PO Box 2153 Purcellville, VA 20134 United States If you no longer wish to receive emails from us, you can [unsubscribe](.
