[CHE Proximity snares Ben Shepherd as chief media officer](
The former director of PwC’s media practice, Ben Shepherd, is to join CHE Proximity as its chief media officer on 19 June.
CHE Proximity is led by Chris Howatson, who himself was recently promoted to oversee all of Clemenger Group’s agencies following the success of his consultancy-style approach. He said Shepherd’s appointment deepened the agency’s consultancy capabilities.

['Prolific disruptor': Founders farewell Naked](
Naked – the strategy agency which burst onto the Australian scene in the early 2000s and became infamous for stunts such as the girl-with-the jacket and Steal Banksy – is no more, with the agency being folded into creative outfit BMF.
Despite Naked’s disappearance from the Australian scene, founding partner and former CEO, Mat Baxter, told Mumbrella the agency leaves behind a unique and meaningful legacy.

Mumbrella’s B2B Marketing Summit is returning for its second year with IBM Watson’s marketing research program director and evangelist, Loren McDonald, set to keynote the conference.

Tribe, the influencer platform founded by TV and radio host Jules Lund, has revealed Unilever’s recently retired global CMO, Keith Weed, has joined as an investor.
Weed was named the World’s Most Influential CMO by Forbes in 2017 and 2018, served as CMO for Unilever for a decade, and was with the brand for more than 30 years.

[Enero to merge Precinct comms agency into Hotwire as part of group reshuffle](
Comms agency Precinct is to be absorbed into sister company Hotwire as part of a restructure by parent group, Enero.
The merger, which Enero claims will not result in any job losses, will see Precinct’s former managing director, Jaime Nelson, become Hotwire’s MD for strategy and marketing services while current MD, Mylan Vu, will retain responsibility for the merged companies’ communications team.

[1.49m metro viewers tune in to see the winner of Lego Masters revealed](
1.493m metro viewers tuned in last night to watch the winners announcement for the final episode of Nine’s Lego Masters in which Henry and Cade took the crown and $100,000.
The first half of the show, prior to the winner announcement, brought in 1.249m viewers. Lego Masters premiered to 1.377m on April 28 and has been renewed for a second season.

Screen Australia and the New Zealand Film Commission have announced the eight Indigenous teams who will take part in a joint anthology feature providing an Indigenous perspective on the 250th anniversary of James Cook’s maiden voyage in the Pacific.
Each team will write a create a chapter for Cook 2020: Our Right of Reply, entitled Ng? Pouwhenua in New Zealand, and will attend a residential lab at Shark Island Institute in Kangaroo Valley to develop the film.
