[Telegraph branded ârecklessly irresponsibleâ as judge awards aggravated damages to Geoffrey Rush](
Nationwide News, the publisher of the Daily Telegraph, has been ordered to pay aggravated damages to Geoffrey Rush as a judge branded stories alleging âinappropriate behaviourâ by the actor as ârecklessly irresponsible journalism of the very worst kindâ.
Justice Michael Wigney said the publisher had not proved that Rush had behaved inappropriately towards Eryn Jean Norvill, who performed alongside Rush in a Sydney Theatre Company production of King Lear.

[AADL CEO Stephen Porges steps down, replaced by ADMA's Andrea Martens](
The Australian Alliance for Data Leadership, the parent company of industry body ADMA, has seen another change at the top with CEO Stephen Porges replaced by ADMA boss Andrea Martens.
Porgesâ departure continues AADL’s turbulent period after long standing ADMA CEO Jodie Sangster stepped down in March 2018 and comes after Porges was ordered by the NSW Supreme Court to pay back $941,703 after being found to have acted in a âmisleading and deceptiveâ manner in a share transaction.

[Red Agency secures three Mumbrella Travel Marketing Awards](
Red Agency has backed up its success at the Mumbrella CommsCon Awards by taking home three Mumbrella Travel Marketing Awards at the Four Seasons in Sydney, two of which were won for work with Host/Havas. The agencies took home PR Idea of the Year and the Award for Innovation for their work on Palau Pledge, while Red Agency itself won Travel PR Agency of the Year.
Tourism Australiaâs Dundee: Son of a Legend Returns also took home two awards. The Tourism Australia marketing team responsible for it won Marketing Team of the Year, while UM with Droga5 took home Best Media Strategy for its work with the campaign.

In the audio, which has been heard by Mumbrella, Kylie Sandilands references the discussion between Nation and Strahan on Bachelor in Paradise which Ten aired unedited on split-screen. Sandilands said âspoiler alert: abortionâ, shortly after which the breakfast show was cut off.

[Seven drops court proceedings against ACMA over Sunrise Indigenous adoption segment](
Seven has dropped court proceedings against the Australian Communications and Media Authority over Sunriseâs âHot Topicsâ segment on Indigenous adoption.
Last year, ACMA ruled the segment, which aired on 13 March 2018, was in breach of the Commercial Television Industry Code of Practice as it was inaccurate and provoked racial contempt.

Seven has continued to win Thursday nights, holding 21% of the channel share and 32.6% network share last night, with both Seven News and Sevenâs AFL delivering strong figures.
Seven News was the most watched program for the evening, 966,000 metro viewers tuned in to the first half hour and 860,000 for the second half hour (which broadcasts as Today Tonight in some cities).
