[Federal Court penalises Sydney publisher for sacking journalist](
The Federal Circuit Court has fined a publisher after he threatened and later sacked a journalist who contacted the Fair Work Ombudsman for help.
Theodore Skalkos, the sole director of FL Press, has been ordered to pay $27,500 in penalties to his former employee, who worked at one his publications, the Serbian-language newspaper, Novosti.

['Offensive' and 'explicit' Wicked Campers van banned](
Controversial motor rental company Wicked Campers has had another one of its vans banned by the advertising watchdog, this time for plastering an âexplicit reference to a sexual actâ on its van.
The van, which was registered in South Australia, said âI donât always give a woman an orgasm, but when I do she usually spits it outâ.

[Australian mobile ad spending passes billion dollar mark as digital advertising grows 13%, says IAB and PWC](
Australiaâs digital marketing spend grew 13.2% year on year, claims the IAB and PwC in the latest Online Advertising Expenditure Report.
The report, covering the September quarter of 2018, said total digital ad spend was 2.24bn, up from $1.98bn the year before and an increase of 1.6% from the previous quarter.
