[APN Outdoor CEO Warburton refuses to be drawn on his future or redundancies, after sale to JC Decaux](
APN Outdoorâs CEO James Warburton is pleased his frantic negotiating with international outdoor giant JC Decaux ended in a sale agreement, however wonât divulge the implications for the companyâs branding, staff, or his future.
Speaking to Mumbrella after the $1.119 billion sale was announced to the ASX â after days of media speculation, rushed international negotiations and a trading halt â Warburton said a lot of the intricacies and ultimate outcomes of the deal still need to be ironed out.

Fox Sports has appointed acting COO Peter Campbell to lead the sports channel as part of Foxtel CEO Patrick Delanyâs customer acquisition drive ahead of a planned stock market float later this year.
Along with Campbell taking the helm at Fox Sports, Delany also announced that former Nine GM Amanda Laing will be appointed Foxtelâs chief commercial officer and Sky Deutschland executive Euan Smith will take the COO role.

Vacuum cleaner retailer Godfreys has launched an âaggressiveâ television, print and social media advertising campaign in an attempt to turn the struggling groupâs fortunes around.
The new ads mark a return to Godfreysâ signature discount and sale-based approach, after it claimed a deviation from the tried and trusted formula resulted in a drop in sales earlier in the year.

[842,000 tune in for Socceroos' final outing at FIFA World Cup against Peru](
Australiaâs final group-round match in the 2018 FIFA World Cup drew in 842,000 metro viewers, according to OzTAMâs preliminary overnight ratings.
The first match against France attracted 1.653m metro viewers, while the second against Denmark had 1.655m. The match overnight against Peru, however, had a later kick-off time, starting at midnight in the eastern states, compared to the previous matches which started at 8pm and 10pm respectively (AEST).

[Video platform Genero raises $4m to fund US expansion](
Australian video startup Genero has raised another $4m from a consortium of investors led by the James Packer backed Ellerston Venture Capital Fund.
