Senator Tommy Tuberville is holding up military promotions -- leaving key positions vacant -- to force his anti-abortion agenda on military families. At the same time, Speaker Kevin McCarthy put the consideration of the National Defense Authorization Act on an indefinite delay, leaving servicemembers’ salaries, childcare, and health care for military families in limbo. The GOP is putting our national security, military readiness, and the well-being of our servicemembers at risk.
