Jackson decision and Justice Clarence Thomas’ opinion threatening decisions guaranteeing the right to same-sex and interracial marriage, [Mikie voted to protect marriage equality]( no matter what extreme decision the Supreme Court hands down next. Mikie’s Fight for Reproductive Rights Continues In the absence of Roe v. Wade, Mikie is continuing to lead efforts to protect access to reproductive care. [She helped pass a measure in the House that would protect access to birth control]( -- another right Justice Thomas threatened -- and Americas’ right to travel out of state for the care they need. Mikie knows reproductive care and contraception are tied to not only women’s health but their economic well-being, too, and she’s going to keep fighting as long as these rights are under attack. Mikie Meets with Ukraine’s President Mikie traveled to Ukraine and met with President Volodymyr Zelenskyy as part of a bipartisan delegation with the House Armed Services Committee.
