Hint: 🍻 [Mighty Networks]( {NAME},  “Event” can be an intimidating word. For some, it might conjure up images of stressful planning, fancy agendas, anxious anticipation, and star-studded guest lists. While some events do, in fact, fit the above description, we’re going to spend this week’s email happily squashing the notion that all of them must be that way.  --------------------------------------------------------------- Community Design Tip #9 Hosting events on your Mighty Network is a great way to get people excited and deepen the bonds of your community. And, most importantly, they don’t need to be extravagant affairs. An event can be an incredibly easy and light lift. Consider these, as examples: - Co-working time - “Ask me anything” session - Community update and discussion - Guest speaker Along with this list, one simple and fun event that we’ve found to be particularly popular (this is the one we want you to steal!) is an old-fashioned happy hour. That’s right, invite your members to get together in a virtual space for drinks, conversations, and connections. And once you do, please let us know how it goes!  --------------------------------------------------------------- Now that we’ve hopefully shifted your perspective about events, we want to share a quote from Naraya S, who had a perspective shift of her own after taking our Community DesignTM Accelerator: I can't say how valuable this accelerator is! I am so glad I did this before launching. It's had me rethink my course structure and business model. I am all for a community that runs itself, and that does take thoughtful design! Here’s to rethinking business models using thoughtful design, Naraya! By upgrading to a Community or Business plan, you can get access to the entire course for just $149. That’s a $200 savings off the regular price. Catch you next week! [Get the Course]( [M]( [FB]( [TW]( [INSTA]( [App Store]( [Play Store]( Sent by Mighty Networks 127 Lytton Ave, Palo Alto, CA 94301 [Unsubscribe]( or [Update your Preferences](

Flesch reading score

Flesch reading score measures how complex a text is. The lower the score, the more difficult the text is to read. The Flesch readability score uses the average length of your sentences (measured by the number of words) and the average number of syllables per word in an equation to calculate the reading ease. Text with a very high Flesch reading ease score (about 100) is straightforward and easy to read, with short sentences and no words of more than two syllables. Usually, a reading ease score of 60-70 is considered acceptable/normal for web copy.
