🎶 It don’t take much 🎶 [Mighty Networks]( {NAME}, Any Al Green fans out there?  The 11-time Grammy award winner, often referred to as “The Last King of Soul,” released culture-defining hits such as Let’s Stay Together, Love and Happiness, and Tired of Being Alone.  He also cut a more obscure record in 1983 titled It Don’t Take Much. (If you’ve never heard the track, by the way, give it a [listen](. It’ll make your day.)  What does any of this have to do with Community Design™️, you might be wondering.  Well, it’s easy to fall into the trap of thinking you need to deliver elaborate content constantly. But when it comes to engaging your members, a lot of times, as Al Green so poignantly put it…it don’t take much. Consider the following tip for one of the easiest ways to engage your members.  --------------------------------------------------------------- Community Design™️ Tip #5  Hot/Cold Polls are highly effective for igniting member engagement. They’re fun, straightforward, and only take a few seconds to answer while almost always sparking conversation.  For those who’ve never used a hot/cold poll, the basic gist is you ask a question, and members answer by dragging a needle on a scale from ice cold to scorching hot.  Here are some examples from Mighty Community: - Building my audience and following on social media platforms is extremely important to me. (Hot is important / Cold is not so important) - How confident are you feeling today about the pricing you have set up for your Mighty Network? - How comfortable do you feel doing the branding/design work for your community, and if you’re a whiz at it, share tools and tips in the comments.  Pretty straightforward, huh? This week, we invite you to press play on Al Green’s song and brainstorm 10 Hot/Cold Polls you can use in your Mighty Network, as you nod your head to the groove. (Please Note: In order to receive access to the hot/cold poll feature, you need to upgrade to a Community or Business Plan.)  --------------------------------------------------------------- And speaking of “It Don’t Take Much” … it don’t take much to get full access to our step-by-step, interactive course teaching you everything you need to build a thriving community.  By upgrading to a Community or Business plan, you can get access to the entire course for just $149. That’s a $200 savings off the regular price.  Now, if you’re anything like us, 🎶 It don’t take much, no, it don’t take much…🎶 is playing on repeat in your mind. While having a song stuck in your head can sometimes be annoying, consider this one an inspirational mantra with a soulful beat, as you continue to design, build, and grow your thriving community this week.  P.S. Also, for those who weren’t able to attend our Founder and CEO, Gina Bianchini’s, live event yesterday (“The Life of a Community”)—don’t worry! Text with a very high Flesch reading ease score (about 100) is straightforward and easy to read, with short sentences and no words of more than two syllables. Usually, a reading ease score of 60-70 is considered acceptable/normal for web copy.
