What’s that, you ask? 🤔 [Mighty Networks](  {NAME},  Have you ever been to a friend’s house, and they have one of those fun, creative welcome mats at their front door?  They sound like this:  “Yay, you made it!” “No need to knock; we know you’re here. - The Dogs” “Hope you brought chocolate.”  Okay, so they’re a little silly, but they can also pique a visitor’s interest and set the tone for a visit.  Likewise, when a member joins your community, the first thing they see is your icebreaker question. It’s your opportunity to grab their attention and engage them immediately. So today, for our weekly Community Design™️tip, we’re giving you a few useful pointers to create (or refresh) your icebreaker.  --------------------------------------------------------------- Community Design™️ Weekly Tip #3  When creating an icebreaker, make sure your question follows the FCS FORMULA.  Fast—A great question can be answered quickly. Think less than 15 seconds. The polls & questions feature in your Mighty Network makes this easy with multiple-choice, hot/cold, and percentage polls that can be answered with one tap.  Constrained—Constraints make questions easier to answer. Try adding a time or word limit, or a fill-in-the-blank option.  Specific—The more open-ended your question, the more work it is for your member to answer.  Here are some great examples that you’re welcome to steal:  - What’s the best piece of advice you’ve ever been given? - The fictional family I would be a member of is __________. - Describe your absolute dream job in 25 words or less. - What would the title of your autobiography be? - If you had to delete all but three apps from your smartphone, which ones would you keep?  ---------------------------------------------------------------  If you like these weekly tips, then you’ll love our Community Design™️ Accelerator. Imagine the benefits you get here and multiply that by a thousand. Text with a very high Flesch reading ease score (about 100) is straightforward and easy to read, with short sentences and no words of more than two syllables. Usually, a reading ease score of 60-70 is considered acceptable/normal for web copy.
