Now experts say his re-election could be THE deciding race for control of the House this year. If you’d like to unsubscribe, [click here.]( [Malinowski for NJ ](#) Hi {NAME}, Now that August is here, Election Day is right around the corner — and many of us are feeling the pressure. This is THE most competitive district in New Jersey, and will be one of the closest House races in the entire country. We’re running to protect not only this seat, but our entire Congressional majority and our democracy along with it. But {NAME}, I have full faith in this team. This is not the first time we’ve faced a high pressure campaign — and thanks to your determination and your refusal to be complacent, we’ve risen to the occasion again and again. So I wanted to take a minute to remind you about everything we’ve ALREADY delivered together. Think about where we were when I first ran for Congress in 2018, not so long ago. The number one issue New Jerseyans were talking about was healthcare — it was too expensive, not accessible, and we had just narrowly avoided seeing the Affordable Care Act repealed. But because you helped elect our House majority, we protected healthcare access for millions of people. YOU did that, by voting in 2018. And {NAME}, that’s just the tip of the iceberg. Because you stepped up to vote in 2018 and 2020, our Congressional majority passed the first gun violence prevention bill in decades this year. Because of you, our majority passed the single biggest investment in America’s infrastructure in decades — which is funding the Gateway Tunnel, fixing NJ Transit, upgrading our grid to clean energy, and paying for flood control to protect us from the next Hurricane Ida. And because of you, our majority passed the American Rescue Plan — which saved tens of millions of jobs and enabled our small towns and main street businesses to weather the pandemic – jobs and businesses that might otherwise have been lost for good. {NAME} – all that progress happened because of YOUR votes, activism, and financial support. And if we keep working hard, we’ll meet the next set of challenges, from codifying Roe vs. Wade, to tackling climate change, to protecting our elections. It won’t be easy. The GOP’s extremist arm is pouring millions of dollars to try to flip this seat — and install a MAGA puppet who has not announced a single plan to make life better for New Jerseyans, but has pledged that he “supports the Trump agenda” no matter what. But if we keep working relentlessly in this final, critical push, we CAN defeat Kean Jr. and keep a responsible majority in power in Congress, to protect our democracy for all of us. [I’m asking for your help today to make that happen. We’ve got just three months left to bring this home. Chip in $10 or whatever you can to protect this seat, hold our House majority, and secure our democracy:]( If you've stored your payment information with ActBlue Express, your donation will be processed immediately.
