The bill will provide enhanced background checks from buyers under 21, anti-violence community initiatives, and investment in prioritizing mental health and safe schools, among other important actions. After deadly mass shootings in Chicago, Uvalde and Buffalo this year alone – it’s never been more important to act on gun safety. [This legislation is a step forward, but it’s not nearly enough. If you’re with us and agree that we must do more to curb gun violence in this country – please sign your name now!]( [SIGN YOUR NAME]( This bipartisan legislation is a huge win for gun safety advocates, but we cannot stop our fight for policies that protect our country and efforts to root out NRA corruption in Congress. We need to keep fighting for laws that will keep our communities safe, not line NRA advocates’ pockets. In 2017, our opponent, Kean Jr., got an A rating from the NRA. Now imagine how he would have voted on this important legislation. Keeping Tom in Congress is crucial and will ensure New Jersey has a strong advocate for gun safety for years to come. [Right now, we’re asking that you sign our petition and stand with Tom in saying: we must do more to combat gun violence!]( [SIGN YOUR NAME IN SUPPORT OF GUN VIOLENCE PREVENTION!]( Thank you, All of us here @ Malinowski HQ --------------------------------------------------------------- Tom Malinowski served as a diplomat in the Obama administration, standing up to dictators overseas. Now he's standing up for our democracy as a Congressman representing New Jersey's 7th district — which experts say could be THE deciding race for control of the House this year.
