There was a certain period a while back when every Tuesday, I’d ask Stephen, “You know what today is?!” And he’d laugh and play along. “What is it?” Culminating in my excitedly telling him that a new episode’s just dropped of Physical: 100 . (Spoilers coming up….you’ve been warned!) I mean, first of all the premise is genius: 100 of the fittest people in Korea compete in Squid Games-style rounds to see who’s the ultimate champion. Plus, I felt really inspired watching their displays of mental and physical strength - which I will only ever accomplish by living vicariously through them. Like pulling a two ton ship. Or holding a 110 pound rock for over two hours . (One of the contestants couldn’t even pick up the rock. I felt for her, because that would have been me too.) But what had me really hooked was seeing what each new competition would be. Because it’s not actually the fittest person who always wins. Like the round where contestants had to climb a rope that continually dropped downward — so the winner was whoever could hang on the longest without falling to the floor. You know who won? The mountain rescue guy - who climbs mountains while carrying heavy packs and basically hangs from stuff for a living. To be fair, he’s also VERY strong. But it’s like that task was made just for him. So to win, yes, you have to be super fit. But you also kind of have to try and match yourself to the tasks that fit your strengths too. Not unlike growing your business: Nothing will help if you aren’t “fit” — you gotta know your stuff, have a decent offer, and basic marketing and sales skills. But, you also gotta choose to play the “games” that match your personality and strengths. Take me for example… I’ve never been great with small talk or any sort of “entertainment.” But I am very good at what I do, and have built a very deep body of knowledge over the past near-decade. I’m also better at working deeply in focused spurts, and prefer that over having to “be on the hook” for doing a little something every day. Plus, I hate wasting time. So I can’t make myself do anything that feels like it won’t last or keep working for me in the future. Thus one of the “tasks” I matched myself to to grow my business? Creating fewer pieces of high quality content that I’m proud to have my name to, that give incredible value, and that continue working to help people find me on autopilot looooong after I’ve finished the work of creating the article. AKA: SEO. And as it goes, having the right match up of the right strategy for my skills + personality is how SEO became a multiple six-figure traffic source, from nothing, in less than two years. (That’s not counting any other traffic source or strategy, so we’re talking about results from SEO alone.) And these days? It’s my biggest and most profitable channel…by far. If you too feel that SEO is the right fit for your personality and skills, here’s how I can help you with that match up… You can learn more about how to make it work for you right here: [Watch a free masterclass explaining the strategy]( . Or if you already know you want to get SEO growth going asap: [Enroll in Clients Come to Me]( to get the full system with step-by-steps, templates, guides, and Q&A support. (Your business does need to be at 6-figures or more in annual revenue for this option to be a good fit.)
