Some interesting insight from a very successful creator - over two million followers across his platforms - who shared his content creation strategy with me a while back: He breaks out his content into about 16 different “formulas,” with 10 different topics that he regularly rotates through. Next comes the massive spreadsheet that organizes everything - including when and where to post it all. But there’s more too. For each piece of content, he also identifies the emotion he’s trying to engage - usually one of the four he believes are key to building an engaged audience - and adjusts the content to try to engage it. And finally, before he considers each piece done, he looks it over to make sure it’s checked off all the criteria on his very long checklist. Now, I have so much respect for him and what he’s accomplished. But that feels WAY too overwhelming for me. And I don’t know about you, but I don’t have the time or the desire to do any of that. Yet that’s how content creation is usually taught. Usually because it’s taught by creators like this guy — who live and breathe this kind of stuff. Again, if that’s your jam, amazing. But if you’re more like me, there’s a key difference that way of doing things doesn’t take into account. The way I think about it: I’m a businessperson first and foremost. And my content creation supports my business. While for most creators? They’re creators first and foremost. The difference being: If you fall into the same group as me, having “perfect” content isn’t our goal. Yes, our content needs to be high-quality — but our benchmark isn’t the content itself. It’s the people our content helps, how it helps, and the effect it has on our business. Which also makes the entire creation process a lot easier for us too. In fact, here’s an overview of my process: Topic: Talk about whatever I want to share and teach on — without having to follow any categories or rules. Because I know what will grow the business. Structure: Since I’ve got just one “formula” I follow with ALL my content, it’s a lot easier to quickly create great content that also grows my business. Time: And last but definitely not least - especially when you’re a busy business owner - most of my content takes less than 30 minutes to create. As a result of this simple process, I’m able to quickly and enjoyably create the content that powers this business — to the tune of 7-figures in sales every year. (In full transparency as always, there are some exceptions. For example, my Youtube creation process now takes longer. But this business had passed 7-figures long before I added Youtube in. So I’m sharing with you what I did content-wise to get to 7-figures — in a way that was actually doable and sustainable.) The point being: Despite how it might feel right now, creating content does NOT have to be something you dread. In fact, it shouldn’t be hard, overwhelming, time-consuming, or unrewarding. And that’s why I’d love to show you my way: So you can create great content you’re proud of. That grows your business. In 30 minutes or less. And then… Get on with the rest of your day — building your business and living your life. Because isn’t that kind of the whole point? So if you want to learn my way, I lay it all out for you inside my Content Cornucopia course (one of my favorites). And this year’s enrollment is open for the next few days only. Flesch reading score

Flesch reading score measures how complex a text is. The lower the score, the more difficult the text is to read. The Flesch readability score uses the average length of your sentences (measured by the number of words) and the average number of syllables per word in an equation to calculate the reading ease. Text with a very high Flesch reading ease score (about 100) is straightforward and easy to read, with short sentences and no words of more than two syllables. Usually, a reading ease score of 60-70 is considered acceptable/normal for web copy.
