A cool tidbit you may or may not have needed to know: I haven’t changed much about the way I run this business, since 2019. So let’s say it took me about five years (since 2014) to figure out what worked best for my personality, preferences, and strengths. Basically, me . But since then, I’ve just kept on doing more of the same. I only realized this because I was reviewing my products — which we do every year, sometimes multiple times a year if applicable — to see if anything needed an update. But aside from a few technical details here and there, everything is just as relevant as when I created it. Now, I’m the kind of person who has eaten the same breakfast every morning for six years and counting — ever since I worked with a professional to figure out how and what to eat for my best life. And I still think it’s just as delicious. And I’m not “bored” with it either. (In case you’re wondering: Eggs with truffle oil and salt. Plus sweet potatoes. And yes, I know truffle oil is not made from real truffles. Don’t care, it’s delicious.) Which gives you a pretty idea of how I like to grow my business too. Because since 2019, my business has basically been this simple: Drive the largest portion of our traffic via search. Created high-quality content on a few other platforms, which drives some growth too but is more for allowing us to go deeper with the value we provide. Daily weekday emails. (Although in full disclosure, I have missed a few days. So let’s say weekday-ish.) Create products teaching the things I figure out — which I’m able to do as a result of all this. In other words, focusing on doing just a few things really well, and going deeper and deeper with them until I’ve reached some sort of mastery-ish. And as simple as all this sounds, it’s actually very far from the norm. Most of my colleagues who were around in 2019 have a very different model from what they did back then. And all the power to them. But to me, that feels exhausting. For example, one reason I decided to shift my top traffic source away from Facebook ads is because ad costs were increasing. That’s a natural part of how ad platforms go, so not a big deal in of itself. But it did mean that to be able to maintain the scale we were doing — spending 5- to 6-figures a month — we would have had to continue shifting what we sold and how we sold it to keep profitability up. (I mention the scale because it’s a completely different, and in many ways easier, ballgame if you’re spending a lot less and looking to drive just a handful of sales each month. So as with most things, that context is important.) The way I see it, the point of a Freedom Business — the kind of business I run with LuisaZhou.com and that I teach you to build — is this: Be able to do work you enjoy, that adds value to the world. Make a great, maybe even phenomenal and mind-blowing, income. Have the peace of mind to enjoy your life outside of your business. Which is kind of mutually exclusive from having to constantly rework your entire model, systems, and product line. But I also get it — to some people this might feel boring. But if you’re like me, and want a true Freedom Business? Not to mention the ability to really focus on just a few things and get better and better at them — which also translates to more and better results, fulfillment, and growth in your business. It starts with having a growth system you can build that foundation on. If you’d like to learn mine and make it your own, here’s how I can help… You can learn more about the growth system — which is literally what I do and the cornerstone of my personal growth strategy — right here: [Watch a free masterclass explaining the system]( . Or if you already know you want to add this to your business: [Enroll in Clients Come to Me]( to get the full system with step-by-steps, templates, guides, and Q&A support. Or if you want us to do it FOR you: [Hire my team]( to do it all for you so you can continue growing without having to worry about a thing. (Your business does need to be at 6-figures or more in annual revenue for this option to be a good fit.)
