My two-year long lie

Have you ever said you’re going to do something, like learn a new language, lose weight, or visit that special place (especially around this time of year)… and then a year or more goes by and you still haven’t done it yet... and it gets to the point where it’s painful when your parents and friends ask you how much progress you’ve made… Because the real answer is, None ? Look, I’m the last one to judge. It took me 2 years of making excuses before I fully committed to changing my life and beginning the business I’d been wanting. “I’ll start tomorrow,” I lied to myself. For over TWO YEARS! Then flash. Years had passed, and I was in the exact same place. Same job, same routine, same unhappy Luisa. In fact, it took my whole world falling apart before I really went for it.
