A creator with a fairly big audience DM’d me a while back on Instagram: --------------------------------------------------------------- “Hey Luisa, I’m currently trying to make actual money coaching. Even with 40K IG followers, I can’t get consistent months. I also have an online course that’s pretty close to launching, but I have no idea if it’s actually ready or how to market it for consistent sales. Are these things you can help with?” --------------------------------------------------------------- How did I answer? Well… I didn’t . I actually didn’t see the message until much later. Plus, it’s too “lazy” a question considering I have SO MUCH information on this - a LOT of it for free…on my Instagram, emails, blog, and Youtube channel. But I am going to turn it into a Q&A email today. So if you’re struggling to make sales on social media, here’s my answer. Looking over this person’s Instagram, the cause was immediately obvious (and also applies for a lot of creators with the same problem): Her account is FULL of high-value content. And that’s it. “But isn’t that what you’re supposed to do? Share lots of high-value content?” Well, my friend, it depends. Are you wanting to build a community and make sales? Then…absolutely not. Because if community and sales are your goal, there are actually three types of content you want to be sharing on social media. And not one of those three categories is pure “high-value” teaching. Let me be clear: Yes, of course your content needs to be highly valuable. BUT, there’s a specific way to do it—at least on social—that ensures it stands out and benefits your business. Even more specifically, there are actually two things you’ll want to do with your high-value content. First is how you create it. Which I talk about ~2 minutes into the first video of my [Sales on Social]( training. This ensures that your content is just the right amount of value…without being too over- or too under-whelming. Second is focusing on the right metric - which is NOT “value.” Because once you start creating with this infinitely more potent goal in mind, you’ll visibly notice your content improve. Which is how you’ll get much more engagement, interest, and sales. I talk about what this metric is starting 8 minutes and 40 seconds into video #1 of [Sales on Social]( . Plus, if you’re counting, that’s just one of the three content categories. You need all three to ensure that you’re not just seen as a go-to for free content, but THE go-to when it comes time to buy . I cover all this in detail in video one of Sales on Social . Including 16 unique content prompts that’ll transform the way you approach content, and according to Sales on Social students…are so unique they “haven’t seen it explained in this way ever,” are incredibly “enlightening,” and provide much-needed “structure” to your content creation. If you want all this, so you can turn your hard work on social media into actual sales, you can get Sales on Social right here: [luisazhou.com/sales-on-social](

Text with a very high Flesch reading ease score (about 100) is straightforward and easy to read, with short sentences and no words of more than two syllables.
