Another reason why I don’t love talking about revenue numbers as much these days: I find that a lot of people freeze up when they become too focused on the $. Which, contradictorily, means that they often end up making less than when they’re focused on other things (even when they’re things that lead to you making more money)… Like creating content you enjoy. Or strengthening your mindset, resilience, and self-awareness. Or building your marketing, sales, and coaching/teaching skills. But let’s also be honest — The money’s important. ‘Cause you can’t pay the bills with “fun.” (Not to mention that most of us — myself included — are taught to measure our success…and often “worth”...unfortunately, by how much we make.) So it’s one thing to “know” that focusing on the things that naturally drive revenue anyways is better for you and your business. But it’s a whole other thing to really land that in your subconscious. Especially if you grew up like me, in a home where no one around you had the know-how, or really the luxury, of being able to think that way. That’s why I created this week’s Youtube video. I want to share some of my biggest lessons from my year of extravagant spending — back when I did (wrongly) believe that money was the ultimate measure of…well…everything. My hope is that this helps you not only feel more motivated and realize that your goals, no matter how big, ARE within your reach. But it also helps you be able to redefine success for yourself in a way that feels much more healthy and enjoyable…while also helping you hit your $ goals even faster. You can watch the video right here: [https∶//youtu.be/zH0TxX4gxlU](

The Flesch readability score uses the average length of your sentences (measured by the number of words) and the average number of syllables per word in an equation to calculate the reading ease. Text with a very high Flesch reading ease score (about 100) is straightforward and easy to read, with short sentences and no words of more than two syllables. Usually, a reading ease score of 60-70 is considered acceptable/normal for web copy.
