As you probably know — Here in LZ Land, we believe that you can start getting results…fairly fast. (Like getting your first client, $5K month, even six-figures.) But we’re also big fans of this #Mikimoto: “Good things take time. Great things take a little longer.” An example is how I’ve developed my product suite over the years. Because the new products I create every year are a reflection of what I’ve been focusing on for the past few years before that. Take my first ever course: Employee to Entrepreneur. It took me four years to perfect. Plus, the way I teach in it is a reflection of what I believe works best for beginners (and what worked best for me personally): Step-by-step instruction. Which is why that’s how I teach in all three of my flagships — Ultimate Course Launch , and Clients Come to Me being the other two. Because when it comes to laying a rock solid foundation for your business? I firmly believe that mastering the step-by-step “basics” is what separates flash-in-the-pans from those that are able to continue growing their business year after year. Having these foundations in my own business is what allowed me to focus on developing key skills from about year three to year six: Like webinars, sales pages, sales emails. That’s why my courses teaching what I figured out for these are slightly less “step-by-step,” but still very much focused on getting to a very specific result — laying the groundwork to master that skill for yourself. From year seven to now, I’ve continued to refine those skills (that part never ends), while focusing on more strategic growth and understanding — the things that lead to even bigger “quantum leaps” and growth. Which you’ll see in the courses I’m releasing later this year. 😉 The point to all this? Well, a few things. The most important being that you can’t skip the fundamentals. Any time I see a coach/course creator doing that, even if they’re getting a lot of fast success initially? Sooner or later, they’ve got to “pay the piper” and go back to rebuild their foundation. (Speaking from personal experience too.) Or they burn out. So if it feels like you’re moving too slowly right now? The good news is: It’s more likely you’re just in one of your “slow down to speed up” phases and building a strong foundation — including your skills of figuring out what works and what doesn’t. But the even better news? As you get a hang of the fundamentals, things start to get really fun. Because now you’ve got the financial foundation in your business to have room for playing and experimentation — which usually leads to more growth as well. Plus, you’ll have a real understanding of how to actually build a profitable online business — so that you can decide what rules you want to break…and what your way looks like. But it all starts with building that strong foundation first. So if you’d like my help with that, here’s what I’ve got for you… If you’re starting a business to replace your 9-to-5: [The 4-Step Formula I Used to Build My Coaching Business and Replace My Salary BEFORE I Left my 9-5]( If you’re ready to go from 1-on-1 work to no longer trading time for money: [How to successfully create & sell your own online course for true financial freedom]( And, if you’re at 6-figures ready to scale to multiple 6- or 7-: [How to Go from Hustling Coach/Course Creator to 7-Figure Business Owner]( Luisa Zhou If you no longer wish to receive these emails, click here to [unsubscribe]( Zhou Ventures, Inc. 54 State Street, Ste 804 #5511 Albany, NY 12207
