A great scene from Destined , a Chinese drama I’ve been enjoying lately: The new daughter-in-law of the largest merchant family in the state is trying to learn the family business. But the family’s business managers - who are all decades older and have been with the family for many years - won’t give her the time of day. Thankfully, her husband gives her a few tips… Manager #1 is the least established, and would actually love to build a relationship with the new lady of the house. So if she goes and sees him when no one else is there - to judge him for not giving her the cold shoulder like everyone else - he’ll help her however he can. Manager #2 can’t be won over. But his son owes her husband some money…so if she approaches the son, he’ll help her persuade his father. And Manager #3 is really just super busy. So if she goes to his shop and shows him the proper respect by waiting until he’s free (as someone of the younger generation should do), he’ll come and see her when he can. Lo’ and behold… After making zero progress with her previous attempts, finally, she starts turning the tide in her favor. All thanks to her husband, whose understanding of people - and thus marketing - is on-point. It’s not complicated (although that doesn’t mean it’s easy): To have your marketing land - and thus your business to grow? Speak to what your customer wants. If you get this one thing right, it can make up for a multitude of other gaps in your business. And so it goes in most situations… There are usually just a few things that are disproportionately more important than everything else in terms of growing your business. So if you can identify what those are and get those few things right? That’s the best way to beat overwhelm, get laser-focused, and grow in the fastest and most efficient way possible. It’s also how I teach you to think in every one of my courses. So if you’d like to learn what to focus on, and how to do it, here’s how I can help you… To start your own business and leave your 9-to-5: [The 4-Step Formula I Used to Build My Coaching Business and Replace My Salary BEFORE I Left my 9-5]( To transition from 1-on-1 work to leveraging your time: [How to successfully create & sell your own online course for true financial freedom]( To scale your business to multiple 6- to 7-figures: [How to Go from Hustling Coach/Course Creator to 7-Figure Business Owner]( Luisa Zhou If you no longer wish to receive these emails, click here to [unsubscribe]( Zhou Ventures, Inc. 54 State Street, Ste 804 #5511 Albany, NY 12207
