There used to be a time when popular unwisdom claimed: “You don’t need to be an expert to get clients!” (The idea being that you just had to have enough experience to be able to help someone just a few steps behind you.) I actually agree with that…in part. At least as a way to get out of our own heads, wondering whether or not we’re expert “enough.” Even now, as soon as I think of that word - “expert” - those pesky imposter syndrome thoughts try to creep in. But because anyone can easily put up a few videos and start teaching anything these days, that claim is no longer as true as it used to be. Every day, I see more examples from people tired of not being able to know who they can actually trust. So I’ll be (to my knowledge at least) the first to say it: These days, you DO need to be an expert. It’s the only way to stand out and build trust. But I’m not talking about the “traditional” ways of earning expertise—like credentials and more education. I’m talking about demonstrated expertise. Where you’re able to showcase it through your experience, knowledge, and earned opinions. (“Earned opinions” being an LZ term, for opinions you’ve formed from hard-won experience.) This will be your most powerful advantage as the world changes. Especially as AI becomes integrated into more marketing roles and content creation. Because you can’t out-create AI. But you have one thing AI will never have: Your human experience. And the more you leverage that in a smart way, the more you’ll stand out even MORE as the rest of the industry falls deeper into the bottomless pit of continual optimization—losing their biggest advantage and differentiator in the process. Because of this timeless, technology-agnostic truth: Humans connect with other humans. So what does that mean tactically ? 1. Use your blog to create powerful long-form content that allows you to easily differentiate yourself via your human expertise and experience. 2. Drive traffic to your blog so that your dream clients find you and buy from you—so you can stabilize your revenue. Then, use that blog (and the revenue from it) to drive as many other touchpoints as you want—Youtube videos, TikToks, Instagram. And of course, your email list too. But that blog content is the essential foundation. There’s no other format where you can share content as in-depth, appeal to your dream clients who are literally searching for what you can help them with, and have your content continue to work for you even years after you’ve created it. (One caveat: This is assuming you already know your business, audience, and offer. And have already worked with a few paying clients. If not, get those figured out first! Otherwise, all the traffic in the world won’t help.) If you want to learn how to do this: To naturally stand out and demonstrate your expertise. To outrank ALL your competition (no matter how much bigger they are than you or how much longer they’ve been around). And to get found by new dream clients every day. Here’s how I can help you: Learn the strategy right here: [Watch a free masterclass explaining the strategy]( . Or if you already know you want to add this to your business: [Enroll in Clients Come to Me]( to get the full system with step-by-steps, templates, guides, and Q&A support. Or if you want us to do it FOR you: [Hire my team]( to do it all for you so you can focus on doing what you love. (Your business does need to be at 6-figures or more in annual revenue for this option to be a good fit.)
