What was memorable were the chipmunk cheeks I developed as a severe reaction to the surgery It was that very first slice of banana pudding cake that did it. The summer before college, I got my wisdom teeth pulled out. But that wasn’t the memorable part. (No funny antics while under anesthesia.) What was memorable were the chipmunk cheeks I developed as a severe reaction to the surgery. Which meant that for a month, all my breakfasts, lunches, and dinners were poured into my mom’s heavy-duty blender and liquified into an unappetizing brownish-greenish goo. But…it was worth it. I stepped onto the Princeton campus so skinny I could finally fit into my super cute khaki cargo flare pants that told the world that Luisa, the most stylish of college students, was here now. (Lol.) Too bad just a few months later, by Winter Break, those pants no longer fit. Because every Tuesday Snack & Study—where the cafeteria provided the snacks and you were supposed to provide the studying (except I somehow missed the memo about that part)—sitting in the middle of the snack table and whispering my name, would be that irresistible banana pudding cake. The first few times, I only took one slice. But after a month of Snack & Study’s, as the homesickness and the pressure of being in over my head academically started piling up, I started going back for a second piece. And it was so good that before I knew it, I was eating the whole cake. The funny thing is, I didn’t even like bananas that much! Thus, cue what I said at the beginning of this email: “It was that very first slice of banana pudding cake that did it.” It was just too good. Point being… One of the best things you can do for yourself as a new coach? Banana pudding cake slice your way into your client’s hearts. There are obvious and not-so-obvious reasons to do this: * You show that you CAN actually help that person, which eliminates a lot of common price objections. Especially for new coaches. * It helps you get clients faster (by essentially condensing the “get to know and trust you” process) * You build YOUR confidence -- in your ability to deliver, your value, and thus the price you can charge too How can you do this? One of my favorite ways is via an “intensive:” - 2 to 4 hours of virtual coaching on a specific topic - Priced from $300 to $1,500 - 2 weeks of email support after the intensive - One 30-minute follow-up call at the end of the 2 weeks Oh, and possibly the biggest benefit? It’s often easier to sell your full coaching package after a good intensive. (AKA by making your banana pudding cake slice so good they have to get the whole cake.) And it works pretty darn well, as Jacquelynn, one of my ETE’ers, found for herself. She quickly put together an Intensive and made three sales. After the intensive, one person bought her $5,000 coaching package!... “I was inspired to quickly put together a Clarity Breakthrough Intensive session for $397 and had a client enrolled. Because of the massive value I delivered during that session, he ended up also enrolling into my 3-month 1:1 program afterwards!! :) Since then, I've also taken 2 other clients through my Clarity Breakthrough intensive and was able to deliver so much massive value from it as well!” That’s not the end of it either. A few weeks later, she let us know: “I just enrolled another client into my $5K three month 1:1 coaching program earlier today…Thanks so much!” One of our top priorities with Employee to Entrepreneur is to help you get your first paying clients as soon as possible. Because Employee to Entrepreneur is all about helping you build a real business where YOU are in control. Which means getting your first paying clients asap. Not waiting for them to come to you. Since, *surprise*, until you do, you don’t have a business. Or bragging rights to call yourself an “Entrepreneur.” ;) That’s important too. And if you could use a little inspiration... That no matter what obstacles you are facing, results like this are possible for you too? Well, let me share some deets about Jacquelynn’s situation... First, Jacquelynn is a Life Coach for professionals. Not an industry that immediately comes to mind when you think of selling a $5,000 package. As a new coach, to boot. ⇒ AKA no matter what industry you’re in, you can build a great business. What’s more, she actually initially struggled to even sell a $1,500 package! She didn’t give up though. On herself or on her belief in the Employee to Entrepreneur process. ⇒ AKA just because you don’t get *immediate* results or don’t feel confident doesn’t mean you’re not going to get results. (In fact, like for Jacquelynn, your initial results could end up being even better than you’d hoped for.) She continued following the steps, created a quick intensive offer (just one of the strategies I teach in my Ultimate Guide to Getting Sales Calls PDF in the course), and...here we are. It’s not a coincidence that so many ETE’ers get their first client at $2,000+ prices, often in less than 30 days. (FYI: This doesn’t mean it’s guaranteed for you. The process works but you have to put in the work.) And I’m pretty sure that Employee to Entrepreneur can help you do the same too. If you’d like to learn more about the Employee to Entrepreneur process and how it might help you, you can sign up for the free training right here. [The 4-Step Formula I Used to Build My Coaching Business and Replace My Salary BEFORE I Left my 9-5](=) Luisa Zhou PS - Jacquelynn shared exactly how she made her first $5,000 sale, including what she said, in one of the Bonus Client Blueprints that you’ll get if you join Employee to Entrepreneur after watching the free training. (It’s in the ETE Bonuses section under “Bonus Client Blueprints.”) The Bonus Blueprints show you HOW real people have implemented the ETE strategies to get clients. That includes how… - One coach got a $10,000 client from one social media post - Another coach got her first executive client—a CFO she didn’t even know! - A new and unconfident relationship coach made her first sale—for $2,000—within 2 weeks of join ETE ...And more. If you learn best via both seeing what to do and how others have done it (which is the way I teach you throughout the entire course—no fluff or “theory” here)... Flesch reading score

Flesch reading score measures how complex a text is. The lower the score, the more difficult the text is to read. The Flesch readability score uses the average length of your sentences (measured by the number of words) and the average number of syllables per word in an equation to calculate the reading ease. Text with a very high Flesch reading ease score (about 100) is straightforward and easy to read, with short sentences and no words of more than two syllables. Usually, a reading ease score of 60-70 is considered acceptable/normal for web copy.
