what my day REALLY looks like running this business, living my life, and enjoying it all while I’m at it “Successful entrepreneur who wakes up at 4am and doesn’t take a break until 10pm shares her daily routine.” NOT how I would describe my daily routine. In fact, almost the exact opposite. But there was a time when I devoured any article sharing the scheduling “secrets” of some entrepreneur, CEO, or investor…and they all read something like that. If you’re like me and have read or watched your fair share of these, here’s the problem you might have encountered too… They give you a false sense of how productive you have to be to become a similarly successful person. Me? I fully subscribe to the principle that we only have four hours of deep thinking or work available to us a day. If we’re lucky. And my current “daily routine” usually looks something like this… 6amWake up and walk Falco 7amDrink coffee, check email, and do what I want for three hours—sometimes that’s reading or journaling, sometimes that’s writing an email, other times it’s catching up on new episodes of my current TV binge. Many other times, it’s napping. 10amWrite my email of the day (if I haven’t already) and check in on private clients 11amTake Falco out, eat, and get ready for the day Noon to 3pmWhen I’m most likely to actually do “work” 3pm to 7pmTake Falco out. After that, I’m equally likely to be: Napping, Chilling, Working out, or Eating 7pm to whenever I go to sleepWatch TV with Stephen, maybe answer some emails. I’m a night owl so if I get in flow, this is when I’ll do some of my best thinking/work. Nothing like those perfectly productive schedules you’ll see on Business Insider and whatnot. But to be clear… I get a lot done. If I were to share my “daily routine,” my article title would read something like… The Daily Routine of a Successful Entrepreneur and Investor who made her first million before 27, runs three businesses, and sits on Nassau Venture’s investment committee. Not too shabby, huh. Shared tongue in cheek to make a point—contrary to what Stephen likes to joke about because he mostly only sees me watching TV, I’m not some bum sitting on the couch all day getting nothing done. But more seriously, the reason I am able to get so much done? (Which, important distinction: is a completely different thing from being able to do so much) I know how to manage business. An infinitely more effective skill than just knowing how to manage your time. That’s why in the upcoming [DONE live trainings](), we’ll go way beyond “productivity” to address the much more impactful things that’ll allow you to get a lot more done while spending your time the way you’d like. Like.. >> What’s the best use of your time if you only have 30 minutes to work on your business? >> A powerful technique that’ll help you get what you need to done—no matter how busy you are, how little time you have, how “imperfect” your working conditions are, or how much you don’t feel like working…so that you’re able to build a business that works for YOU instead of the other way around >> How can you get what you need done even if you don’t feel “ready” or perfectly inspired at the moment? >> How to finish anything you want, including time-consuming content creation, in whatever amount of time you want—or have. (This is how I was able to go from spending hours on each task to knowing with confidence I could get anything done in 30 minutes or less. BTW: This has nothing to do with the thing itself or getting faster at it) >> How to grow your business every day no matter how little time you have or how busy you are DONE is about shifting the conversation from trying to be superhumanly productive and disciplined… Shifting the way you work in and think about your business so that we deepen your mastery of your business, work, and growth… And as a result, completely transform your enjoyment of your business, your effectiveness in it, and ultimately, your business results. If you’re tired of surface-level tips that aren’t working for you, and want the “real” stuff—backed by my actual experience—that truly works to help you work less in your business while getting more done, growing faster, and enjoying your life more… I’d love to see you in the DONE trainings: [luisazhou.com/done](=) We start in just 3 more days.
