If you’re following common advice though, you’re probably doing this without realizing it!

If you’re following common advice though, you’re probably doing this without realizing it! “If only. Those must be the two saddest words in the world.” —Mercedes Lackey Translation for online business: “If only people didn’t love just my free content. But bought from me too!” Why this happens is the same reason Carrie Bradshaw and Mr. Big, in my opinion, would never have had a happy ending. Even if you haven’t seen Sex and the City, you’ll recognize this story: Mr. Big is wealthy and handsome, with the commitment phobia and maturity issues to match. Cue the drama—him stringing Carrie along and never treating her as a true partner. In fact, he actually marries someone else...only to make Carrie “the other woman.” And in the movie, he even leaves her at the altar! So why does Carrie put up with this? She’s hoping that one day he’ll appreciate how good she is to him. That if she’s available enough, puts him first enough, and waits long enough, one day, he’ll realize she’s the one. Too bad you and I know that’s not how it actually works. And that in fact, what she’s really doing is teaching Mr. Big it’s OK to treat her without respect or appreciation. Maybe you’re reading this and thinking, “I would never let anyone treat ME that way.” Good! BUT, let’s think about this for a second... Are you actually making the same mistake as Carrie with your content? Because, frankly, that’s what most entrepreneurs are taught to do. In other words, to create lots of great free content and hope it translates into enough goodwill that people will at some point buy from you. If you’ve been following that advice, then you probably know the frustration of being treated by your audience the way Mr. Big treats Carrie: Where people expect you to give and give (and give) for free, get offended when you dare to sell anything, and consider your prices highway robbery. That’s why giving great free value is only ONE part of the equation. What’s just as important is making sure your content also teaches your audience to respect and appreciate you, your time, your experience, and your skills and knowledge. After all, you’ve probably been taught to do this in your personal and professional relationships. Business relationships are no different. And that’s why one of the most important things I teach you inside [Content Cornucopia]() is how to build this type of relationship through your content. When you do it the way I show you, something beautiful happens... >> You’re able to build a real relationship with your audience. So that: They actually look forward to hearing about your products. >> You establish mutual appreciation and respect. So that: Your people respect your time, experience, and value. Which means they respect what you choose to give for free and what you choose to sell. At the prices that feel good to you. >> And last but definitely not least, you create an emotional connection. So that: Your audience becomes friends who love to refer you, fans who love up on your content, and of course, customers who love to buy from you. Your content—when done right—should help you do ALL of that. Which is way more than what you usually hear about “just give value”...and leave the rest up to chance. I show you how to do all of this inside Content Cornucopia. All the details are right here: [luisazhou.com/contentcornucopia]() Yes, free content should be amazing... AND yes, free content should also directly help you make more sales. I’ll show you how to make sure your content does both. Enrollment’s open for the next few days only.
