Which, contrarily, is the reason why I actually never really get “stuck,” or at least stay

Which, contrarily, is the reason why I actually never really get “stuck,” or at least stay there for long! {NAME}, Music 101. It was supposed to be one of the few “easy” classes at Princeton that would give my limp GPA a much needed boost. But we’d just had our first exam, and…I’d barely passed. Meeting the friend of a friend for lunch—because she wanted to partner in an engineering course and I wanted to ask how she was acing our music class, I learned not just her “secret,” but a big life lesson as well. To elaborate:: The problem I was having was with the listening portion of the exam. Our professor would play ~20 seconds of a piece we’d studied, and expect us to name which piece it came from. We’re talking 20 seconds out of a 5 to 15 minute recording. So me being me, I’d been going straight to the brute force answer, and trying to memorize every single note by listening to it over and over. When I shared this with my new friend, she looked at me in surprise… “He just plays the first 20 seconds of the piece. That’s all you have to memorize.” Wellll. What I learned from that lunch went way beyond how to ace a course that I (unfortunately) remember not a single bit of information about. The bigger lesson: You’re never “stuck.” (No matter how insurmountable the obstacle might feel in the moment.) You just don’t know what you don’t know. This is possibly one of the most important lessons that’s helped me grow my business. So taking a second to pause and let that sink in. Especially if there’s a part of you right now feeling so frustrated and stuck trying to get to your revenue goal. Now, in the beginning of your business, figuring out what you don’t know is easy. You can find a lot of answers, and some really good ones, for free. (Like on my [Youtube channel]( and [Instagram](=).) And when/if the time is right, you can also find some great courses with more detailed guidance too. (I’d recommend starting with my Employee to Entrepreneur course.) But as you get a bit more advanced, like at the 5k to 10k per month mark, it becomes a lot harder to even figure out what you don’t know. (And that’s what causes that “stuck” situation.) Because there’s not that much applicable free advice available. And most courses aren’t designed to help you past that stage either. This is the kind of stuff we talk about in my EMPIRE coaching program. Sometimes what you don’t know is quick and tactical, like… You’re using the wrong sales process for your business. Or, that’s not the best traffic source for you. This email can be improved a lot by doing x, y, and z. Or, sometimes, it’s even simpler, like knowing how long a promotion should run, how to do a certain thing step by step, and what kind of results are “good.” Other times, it’s a lot deeper, like… Your thoughts and emotional patterns are setting you up for failure. The way you’re thinking about your revenue—and money in general—is the opposite of how a successful business owner would approach it. Your marketing is off because of a, b, and c. Your strategy is not setting you up for consistent growth, or even sustainable profits. Point being, it really just comes down to a matter of information. And not just any kind of information. Because theory doesn’t work here. I’m talking about the kind of information you can only get through experience. That’s why when a client comes to me for help scaling to 20k, 30k, 50k, or even 100k per month, it’s not really a question of, “Can you (Luisa) help me?” Rather, the real question is, “Do you have the information I need?” And the answer, if that’s your goal, is an absolute Yes. Because of a lot of that aforementioned experience. So if that’s where you are, and the kind of help you’re looking for… And I’m the one you’d like in your corner to help you… That’s where my EMPIRE coaching program comes in: [luisazhou.com/coaching](=) Luisa [Facebook]( [YouTube]( [Instagram]( [Unsubscribe]( Zhou Ventures, Inc. Text with a very high Flesch reading ease score (about 100) is straightforward and easy to read, with short sentences and no words of more than two syllables.
