I don’t believe in flukes. And I don’t have them in my business either... {NAME}, There?

I don’t believe in flukes. And I don’t have them in my business either... {NAME}, There’s a lot of “common” business advice I abso-freakin-lutely disagree with. One of the top ones being the idea that you have to accept good revenue months AND bad revenue months in your business. And that’s just how it goes. Like, you might have a $10K month one month (and everything is perfect!!)... Only to struggle to make a single sale the next month. (“OMG what if last month was just a fluke?”) I’m here to tell you that there do not have to be ANY “flukes” in your business. Take a look at my monthly cash numbers in my first year of this business (fyi - these aren’t even sales numbers, which are usually much higher with payment plans): Month 1 - $10,064 Month 2 - $10,560 Month 3 - $24,687 Month 4 - $46,545 Month 5 - $30,886 Month 6 - $23,655 Month 7 - $28,089 Month 8 - $18,914 Month 9 - $130,734 Month 10 - $137,257 Month 11 - $65,088 Month 12 - $50,156 In case these numbers feel a little out of reach for you right now, keep in mind that this was not my first—or second, or even third—business. So the numbers are bigger than usual. (And I share these on purpose because I’d rather show you what’s possible than what’s “normal.”) But the principle stays the same. And that is that, some months… You can have REALLY good months. And other months… You can still have very good months. Note how once I passed $10K per month, I never dipped even close to that again. And what you don’t see here is that in year two, my monthly cash minimum increased to about $50K in cash per month. With some months being much higher. Now, of course it wasn’t just growing my email list that created this. I also have great products and content, love what I do, and am very good at running and growing a business. BUT...none of those other things would have mattered if I hadn’t been consistently growing my audience during that time. I’ve been saying this since the beginning and I’ll keep on saying it: If you’re not growing—especially when it comes to your audience—then you’re dying. And that applies whether you’re at zero right now—in which case you need to start growing your audience to start making sales!—or whether you’re at $10K or $20K months, and want to keep on making them, and more. The problem is that a lot of the advice on building your audience makes it feel like you have to get “lucky” and go viral to grow, or that it has to be complicated, or that it has to feel overwhelming. In reality, nothing could be further from the truth. Growing your audience every day should be drama-free, simple, and not even that time-consuming once you learn the ropes. In fact, doing the things I share in [My First 10k Subscribers](, I only spent about five hours a week on growing my audience. And you don’t even have to do everything I did either. What if you only did a fraction of what I shared? That would still give you the audience growth you need to hit $5K to $10K per month. Play with the numbers and set a goal that feels good to you. Then, come join My First 10k Subscribers to make it happen: [luisazhou.com/mfs-join]( I’ll show you how to grow your audience so you hit those numbers...consistently. {NAME}, let’s put a stop to this silly myth once and for all. Forget the feast-and-famine stuff. Here, it’s about continual, strategic, and drama-free growth. And it all starts with your journey to your first 10k email subscribers. Heads up though: Enrollment closes in just two more days. And I won’t be reopening this course again until some time next year.
