This is straight from the mouth of Jeff Bezos...you know, one of the most successful businessmen in the world... {NAME}, "Friends congratulate me after a quarterly-earnings announcement and say, 'Good job, great quarter,'" "And I'll say, 'Thank you, but that quarter was baked three years ago.' -- Jeff Bezos Sure, you and I (probably) aren’t trying to build the next Amazon. But if I’m going to learn about business from someone, I’d rather learn from one of the most successful business people on the planet. And the lesson is a VERY important one if you’re serious about having your own Freedom Business: The business that you have tomorrow, or next year, or three years from now? Will be the result of what you do today. In fact, the business that I have today is the result of what I started doing over seven years ago, when my current business was nothing more than a dream. (Or a joke, depending on who you asked). From the beginning, I made some uncommon -- and unpopular -- decisions because I was clear on the type of business I wanted to build: - I built systems instead of pushing solely for blind growth. While my business growth has been phenomenal, I’ve often heard from mentors and colleagues that it could be much faster if I pushed my launches further, used social media more, or scaled a sales team. I’ve tested all of these things and they’re great. But I wanted more freedom to grow my business while not having to do those things. Which is why I focused on my traffic, sales, product, and marketing systems, so that I can now grow my business without having to do big live launches, live webinars every week, or be on social media every day - I don’t offer a guarantee or open-ended refund policy. When someone buys from me, I want them to be excited for what they’re getting and be ready to use it. Which means they get the best results, and I get the best students who are happy to pay. Which also means less time, money, and frustration spent on dealing with refunds - I don’t try and “convince” people to buy. If you’ve ever emailed in about one of my courses, you know the drill. My support team will happily answer all your questions, and then we’ll mirror it back to you: “Are you ready to use the course to get the results you want?” And when it’s absolutely not a good fit, we’ll tell you. Because it’s way more fun -- and sustainable -- for me to teach and sell what I want. While bringing in the best students who are attracted to that kind of self-led energy And by the way, building your business for the future doesn’t mean you don’t get to have fast results too. Heck, we crossed over a million dollars in sales in year one. And it doesn’t have to take you nearly as long as it took me to set it up either. Especially if you have the shortcut to everything I did via [Freedom Decoded](. Here’s how I like to think about it: Build your business with one foot in the now. (Aka growing your business and making sales now.) Grow with your business with the other future foot in the future. (Aka doing things that benefit you BOTH now and in the future.) How do you do that? Make the decision that from this moment forward, you’re going to run and grow your business with one foot in the now and one foot in the future. And FYI: It doesn’t matter where you are in your business. In fact, the earlier you start, the better. Then, follow the steps I lay out for you inside Freedom Decoded.
