Far-right opponents are waiting to take on LBR

Just this week, four out of five Republicans voted against a bipartisan commission to investigate the insurrection on January 6. That’s appalling. They’ve done an entire about-face and have seemed to forget the fear and anger on that day. Congresswoman Blunt Rochester hasn’t forgotten. She was with her colleagues -- Democrat and Republican -- in the House Chamber when Capitol police drew their guns to protect our democracy. Now, most Republicans are pretending like the entire thing never happened. The sad truth is that the Republicans will surely nominate a far-right candidate to try and unseat LBR in her next election, but if we can raise $5,000 by the end of this week, we can show the GOP that the people of Delaware have LBR’s back.
