The old white chocolate in my cabinet (and why we have to refresh our resources)

This year Betsy and I tried something new. Only about half of these turned out edible. That white chocolate—key to a good peppermint bark—was a few years old. Apparently, it was past its prime, and it refused to melt properly or swirl like it did in the recipe video (although, my daughter reminded me we cannot fully trust what we see from Instagram influencers).
