I’m proud to share with you that I just introduced a landmark piece of legislation: The Preside

[Truth to Power PAC]( I’m proud to share with you that I just introduced a landmark piece of legislation: The Presidential Ethics Reform Act. No matter which party is in power, the American people deserve transparency from the President and Vice President. This bill requires these leaders and their families to disclose their tax returns, large gifts, and other conflicts of interest. By requiring these disclosures, we can shine a light on any improper conduct in the executive branch — or be confident none occurred. That will help restore the American people’s trust in our government and democracy. I’m still focused on the future of our country because I’ve seen how desperately we need to enact real change. On the campaign trail, I heard from so many Californians who distrust the government and are losing faith in our democracy’s ability to deliver for them. Truth to Power is endorsing and supporting candidates who will carry the torch and continue to fight for ethics, transparency, and honesty from our elected leaders. [Will you make a $5 contribution today to help Truth to Power get these candidates elected?]( Thank you, Katie Porter Katie Porter started Truth to Power to support Democrats who reject corporate PAC money and are running to protect the environment, restore the nationwide right to an abortion, and create an economy that works for working people.
