No matter which party is in power, the American people deserve transparency from the President and Vice President. This bill requires these leaders and their families to disclose their tax returns, large gifts, and other conflicts of interest. By requiring these disclosures, we can shine a light on any improper conduct in the executive branch â or be confident none occurred. That will help restore the American peopleâs trust in our government and democracy. Iâm still focused on the future of our country because Iâve seen how desperately we need to enact real change.
