NBC is hosting the debate this time, and so far, only four candidates have qualified: Trump, Ron DeSantis, Nikki Haley, and Vivek Ramaswamy. The media operations now say all evidence points to an errant Gaza missile landing in the hospital parking lot. The Times says its coverage left readers with an “incorrect impression.” Critics pointed out that the Times still employs a [Mideast correspondent who praised Adolf Hitler]( several times on Facebook. [Article Icon 2] Off-Duty Pilot Tries to Crash Passenger Jet An off-duty Alaska Airlines pilot was [charged with 83 counts of attempted murder]( after trying to crash a flight to San Francisco by turning off the engines. The actual pilots stopped him and made an emergency landing in Portland. The off-duty pilot, 44-year-old Joseph Emerson, was in the jump seat in the cockpit when he tried to interfere with the engines. After subduing him, the pilots asked law enforcement to meet them when they landed in Portland. The Alaska Airlines plane, operated by Horizon Air, was [carrying 80 passengers]( and four crew members from Everett, Washington, to S.F.
