In just one generation, our perennial rivers are turning seasonal [Rally for Rivers]( Calling all who consume water to hit the streets on Sept. 1st Our rivers, the lifelines of this nation, are in peril. As part of the Rally For Rivers campaign to save India’s rivers, we encourage you to take to the streets to show that you care. This mass awareness effort will take place on September 1st in over 60 cities across India. Lakhs of people, all sporting “Rally For Rivers” t-shirts, placards, headgear and stickers, will come together at popular locations in their respective cities. How Do You Participate? All you need to do is spend an hour (more is great!), any time between 8 AM and 11 AM, at a place of your choice in your city, while holding/displaying a Rally for Rivers prop.
