[Sign Up for Customer Coaching]( Tax time is upon us! Check out these 5 tips to prepare for tax season! - Review your buy costs. Export your Replenishment data to find missing costs, then navigate to your sales pages and complete an advanced search for the tax year with a filter for âNo Buy Cost.â Once you have the MSKUs that you need to update, export your inventory page, add your costs, and import the numbers in. If your MSKUs have replenishments, you can use the [Bulk Edit]( feature to quickly update your items. If you stopped selling an item throughout the year, you can make these changes in your [Archived inventory](. - Review your Disposition Management. Before you export your Profit & Loss report, make sure that all of your MFN returns and removals for the year have been correctly marked as Sellable or Unsellable. This ensures the correct buy costs are taken into account for those transactions. Not sure what the right way to mark an item is? See [When + Why to Change a Removal to Sellable or Unsellable]( for more details. If you know what the disposition of most of your removals or MFN returns will be, you can set up [default dispositions]( in settings. - Resolve any inventory alerts.  If there is a quantity discrepancy on an item in your inventory, weâll be sure to create an alert to let you know. Navigate to your inventory pages and filter the data for âHas Alertsâ. Clicking on an alert will take you to the itemâs replenishment detail page. Under the âAlertsâ tab, youâll see the amount of the quantity difference, which will allow you to begin to research. For reasons on why you may see alerts and how to address them, please see:  [Why do I have Inventory alerts? Replenishment quantity totals are different from Amazon](. Once you find the reason for your alerts, it may involve increasing your inventory replenishment amounts in InventoryLab, decreasing them, waiting for Amazon to make certain adjustments, or reaching out to Seller Support for further investigation. - Pull your Inventory Valuation. On January 1st of each year, your previous yearâs ending inventory value from December 31st should be available to export from the Inventory Valuation report. This report shows you your inventory value on specific dates for your active, inbound, and unlisted inventory. More details can be found here: [Inventory Valuation]( - Make sure your sales are fully reconciled. Navigate to your FBA and MFN sales pages and filter for any estimated sales. If itâs after January, all of your past yearâs sales should be reconciled by then, so if you have any that are still in an estimated status, youâll want to be sure to sync any missing historical data. Step-by-step instructions on how to do this can be found here: [How do I get data from before I signed up for InventoryLab?]( [On the Blog] Did you know that  [Adobe]( predicts a 4.8% growth in online spending this holiday season?!
