Plus: In a first, scientists plan to submerge pendulums in the ocean to reduce coastal erosion
[Blueprint]( Sponsored by A Cardiff University student who used ChatGPT to assist with his degree coursework has earned first-class grades. The student, who remains anonymous, told the BBC that he was experimenting with the chatbot to see how much more effective it might be compared to his own work. But before we go any further with that, hereâs your [video of the day]( which explores the Empire State Building and why itâs so special. Good morning. Iâm Sade, an Editor at IE. VIDEO OF THE DAY [sabanci-ie]( [Investing in Climate Technologies for a Cleaner Energy Landscape]( In a bid to achieve Net Zero by 2050, companies across the globe find themselves embroiled in a battle to reduce their environmental impact. Hereâs how Sabancı Holding is investing in climate technologies to make the world a better place to live. The student noted that although he typically received a 2:1 on his assignments, he chose to submit both his 2,500-word essay and the one created by the bot in January to see how they would stack up against one another. He scored a 2:1 for his essay, which was to be expected, but the AI's essay received a strong first. The most recent development is that it is no longer a separate legal organization because it has "merged into X Corp" and "no longer exists." Musk has already declared his intention to transform Twitter into a super app, similar to WeChat in China, which manages both social media and user payments. Whether this transformation is meant only for the platform or a company as a whole remains to be seen. However, a transition to renewable energy resources is highly necessary to keep the 1.5°C climate goal alive. Sabancı Holding, one of the largest Turkish conglomerates that operates on a global scale is leading transformation towards a cleaner, carbon-free energy landscape by investing in climate technologies in line with 3D, decarbonization, decentralization, and digitization, while working for accessible and uninterrupted energy. Theyâre making sure the world becomes a [better place to live]( for future generations. The conglomerate is taking large strides in its attempts to safeguard the environment with notable investments at the global level. The acquisition of the Cutlass Solar II project in Texas is a testament to Sabanci Holdingâs efforts in creating a greener future. Also, they have made investments in Commonwealth Fusion Systems and Quaise Energy, companies that are working on building fusion technology and gathering access to deep geothermal energy, respectively. While a new energy world is emerging that provides us with a cleaner, smarter, more sustainable, and digital way of living, the stakeholders in the energy ecosystem are transforming their operations in the same direction as [Sabancı Holding]( not just for today but also for tomorrow, towards a sustainable future. [LEARN MORE]( INNOVATION [In a first, scientists plan to submerge pendulums in the ocean to reduce coastal erosion]( Researchers have proposed placing pendulums in the ocean to prevent coastal erosion. It is known as the MetaReef project, which is run by a group of researchers from the Institute of Marine Science of the Italian National Research Council. The task entails mounting a grid of pendulums attached to the ocean floor. Each resonator starts to oscillate when ocean waves travel over the pendulums, absorbing wave energy and damping turbulence. The pendulums are made of less dense material than water. The researchers highlight that this system could easily absorb ocean waves and reduce the risk of coastal erosion in the near future. He was hoping the meteorite would hold a message from the now-gone Martian magnetic field, which may have assisted the planet to sustain life. But, to his utter dismay, he discovered that a powerful signal had replaced the meteorite's memories. Gattacceca suspected right away that strong hand magnets, a common method to identify meteorites, might be to blame.
