Plus: Making aviation history: When a SAAB J37 almost shot down an SR-71. Jan 03, 2023 [Blueprint]( [JAGM is now ready]( for full-rate production. The Joint-Air-to-Ground Missile from Lockheed Martin has completed operational testing and has been approved by the U.S. Army, so it can now be produced in higher quantities. It will replace the legacy Lockheed Martin-made HELLFIRE Romeo and HELLFIRE Longbow missiles. But before you watch that in action, take a look at this airborne close encounter. [This video]( shows the moment a SAAB J37 almost shot down an SR-71. Good morning. I’m Alice, an Editor at IE. This is The Blueprint. Let’s dive in. The JAGM system will now be able to be produced in higher quantities for customers, without restrictions. The operational testing of the JAGM on the U.S. Army’s AH-64E Apache and the Marine Corps’ AH-1Z Viper helicopters has also been completed. JAGM will now provide mission-focused offensive and defense capabilities and maintain a competitive edge against any potential adversaries. It will now replace the legacy Lockheed Martin-made HELLFIRE Romeo and HELLFIRE Longbow missiles. → JAGM has over 95 percent reliability in flight testing, making it the weapon of choice in critical, precision engagement opportunities. This provides an [alternative, mind-bending scenario]( to the three spatial dimensions and one-time dimension we’re all familiar with. Excitingly, the study suggests that objects may be able to go faster than the speed of light without completely shattering our current laws of physics. It describes how observations made by “superluminal” observers (observers traveling faster than the speed of light) may appear.
