Plus: Researchers could observe the middle corona of the sun in a world first. Dec 31, 2022
[Blueprint]( Two weeks ago, a coolant leak was discovered in Russiaâs Soyuz MS-22 spacecraft, which is docked at the International Space Station (ISS). One NASA astronaut and two Russian cosmonauts on board are not harmed but are stranded. NASA and Roscosmos are primarily focused on detecting the source of the leak and monitoring the status of MS-22, which is also intended to serve as a lifeboat for the crew in case of an emergency on the station. As a backup plan, NASA is reportedly in talks with SpaceX about the possibility of using its Crew Dragon spacecraft for the return of the crew. Before having a closer look at this crisis, let it all hang out and watch our [video of the day](. Good morning. Iâm Mert, an Editor at IE. And we wish you a happy new year! This is The Blueprint. Letâs get started. Last Sunday, Blueprint subscribers heard about the 17-year-old whoâs motor design could change the face of electric vehicle manufacturing. The crew is stranded after a severe leak was detected in the Russian-built Soyuz capsule two weeks ago. Roscosmos, Russia's equivalent of NASA, is attempting to figure out how to return the three crew members to Earth by March, when they are scheduled to leave. They are also trying to figure out what caused the damage and how bad it is. The Soyuz might still be used to return the trio home if safety inspections are successful. However, NASA might intervene if Roscosmos' options are inadequate. The team detailed their ground-breaking new observation technique in the study, which involves taking ultraviolet (UV) images of the middle corona. The results bring us closer to solving a fundamental mystery about solar wind's origins and its connections with other solar system bodies. Through its ability to cause mutations in cancerous cells, this newly identified target holds potential for novel treatments aimed at battling deadly diseases. In order to investigate the role of enzymes, scientists used a preclinical model of bladder cancer, APOBEC3G, and discovered that the enzyme significantly increases the number of mutations in tumor cells. Founders and CEOs of the world's biggest technology companies have together seen [more than $400 billion]( being wiped off from their fortunes in 2022. The pandemic years saw a major bull run by technology stocks as investors pumped more money into companies that looked poised to survive the economic backlash of COVID-19. However, the dream run that continued well into 2022 started to falter as inflation reached 40-year highs and the U.S. Federal Bank decided to step in.
