China will once again allow an out-of-control rocket to fall out of the sky. Nov 03, 2022 [Blueprint]( Twitter, Tesla: potato, potar-toe. If you can work at one, you can work at the other, right? Well, yes …according to Elon Musk at least. As the new CEO of Twitter, Musk has [authorized 50 employees from his other companies]( including Tesla, SpaceX, and the Boring Company, to help him handle matters at the social media company. He also has friends and advisors who are looking into how Twitter runs, such as the head of his family office Jared Birchall. But is this actually wrong? If he has trusted people who really know their onions, is this really all that odd? I’ll let you decide. But before you get on track with that, take a look at some tracks of a different kind. [This video]( shows a two-kilometer-long passenger train snaking through viaducts and tunnels in Switzerland, and it’s honestly quite something to watch. Good morning. I’m Alice, an Editor at IE. This is The Blueprint. Let’s dive in. Last Sunday, Blueprint subscribers had scientists’ insights on whether killer robots are going to take over the world (and what we can do about it). This Sunday, they'll delve into the science behind picking your nose. Yes, really. Don't miss out — [subscribe to IE+]( today to receive exclusive interviews, features, and much more. This leaves him as the sole director of the company, taking up the position of the CEO at Twitter, (although, amusingly, his Twitter bio describes him as Twitter Complaint Hotline Operator at the moment.) And now he’s [roping in colleagues from across his portfolio]( (more than 50 of them, in fact) to help him run the social media platform. These include the head of his family office Jared Birchall, venture capitalist and founding member of the PayPal team David Sacks, and angel investor Jason Calacanis. → Twitter employees are allegedly being asked to demonstrate to Musk's parachuted team, along with technical documentation, how their work adds value to the company ….and failing to impress Musk's team might mean they will face the axe. You can’t deny that Elon does things his own way.
