Plus: A black hole collision just proved Albert Einstein’s theory to be correct. Oct 17, 2022 [Blueprint]( This new wind technology will spin you right round, baby, right round. ...except unlike other wind turbines, it doesn't do that – it stays still. And that's not all, because as well as not moving, [this new wind harvesting system]( generates up to 50 percent more energy at the same cost as rooftop solar PV. The advantages of it not moving include the fact that it doesn’t make noise, or harm or kill birds, and, this bladeless wind energy solution can be integrated with current solar energy systems and building electrical systems. Pretty neat, eh? It uses aerodynamics similar to race car airfoils to capture and amplify each building's airflow. This means it can generate energy in any weather and takes up 90 percent less space than solar panels. But before you check out that bright idea, take a look at this (arguably slightly less bright) one. [This video]( speculates that beavers might in fact be fish …but it’s not actually as ridiculous as it sounds. Good morning. I’m Alice, an Editor at IE. This is The Blueprint. Let’s dive in. Last Sunday, Blueprint subscribers had an exclusive insight from scientists around the globe about whether coffee has many more (some fairly life-changing) health benefits than we realize. [Must Read]MUST READ [This groundbreaking motionless wind turbine is 50% more efficient than regular turbines.]( [Motionless wind turbine.]( As onsite renewable energy solutions go, it’s a pretty bright idea. Because this [new bladeless wind energy solution]( from Aeromine Technologies generates up to 50 percent more energy, at the same cost as rooftop solar PVs. What’s more, because it’s motionless, it’s kinder to wildlife, and a lot quieter. It uses aerodynamics similar to race car airfoils to capture and amplify each building's airflow. That means that each unit can generate energy 24 hours a day, in any weather, while taking up 10 percent of the roof space you’d need for solar panels. The systems are made up of 20-40 units, which are installed on the edge of a building, in the direction of the predominant wind. And they can generate up to 100 percent of a building's onsite energy needs, all while minimizing the need for energy storage. → The technology harnesses wind energy from a phenomenon of vorticity called vortex shedding. Basically, bladeless technology consists of a cylinder fixed vertically with an elastic rod. The cylinder oscillates on a wind range, which then generates electricity through an alternator system. In other words, it’s a wind turbine that’s not actually a turbine. Flesch reading score

Flesch reading score measures how complex a text is. The lower the score, the more difficult the text is to read. The Flesch readability score uses the average length of your sentences (measured by the number of words) and the average number of syllables per word in an equation to calculate the reading ease. Text with a very high Flesch reading ease score (about 100) is straightforward and easy to read, with short sentences and no words of more than two syllables. Usually, a reading ease score of 60-70 is considered acceptable/normal for web copy.
